Mixed day for bank robbers

Full story: Suburban Chicago News

Maybe that unarmed bank robbing act plays in Bolingbrook, but don't even think of pulling a stunt like that in Minooka .

The real problem is that they should have been stealing prom dresses and selling them at jewels to prostitutes to fund the softball field.

What a joke. A ATM guard scared the robber off. The cops did nothing. Too busy sitting by cemetery waiting to give people bullshit tickets or sitting by Ace talking to each other.

And now vandalism, burglary to a motor vehicle, and residential burglary are running rampant in Minooka, where are the cops patrolling? Sitting on Ridge road trying to generate revenue for the village to justify their jobs and keep their buddies from being laid off. All the while the subdivisions are being terrorized by a bunch of thugs. It would be nice if they could patrol the subdivisions at least once a week and take a break from righting bullshit tickets. I am ready to hire a private security firm for my subdivision because I don't feel safe anymore. Shouldn't someone follow the police and see what they are doing during the middle of the night?

You said a mouthful Joe Wagnwheel! I myself have wondered time and time again where the police are when these thugs are doing their things in our neighborhoods. I am so fed up with the fact that they know who these kids are, but because they are minors and they don't have "enough" proof, they can't do anything about it. It's kind of like that bullshit about not enforcing the leash laws because the dog owners might get mad because the law only affects dogs and not cats. Enough already! Have you ever seen anybody leash their cats outside or walk them in the neightborhood on leashes? No, but how many asswipes out there let their dogs crap all over the place and just walk away without picking it up! But let the banks be targeted and the cops are all over it! It's the little people who are shafted.

You know how easy it would be to set up a bait car and watch it for 1 night on the weekend and finally catch them red handed, but that would require too much thinking and planning, which I feel they are incapable of doing. Also, there is no money in it for the village. They would have to take time away from writing bullshit tickets generating revenue for the village. Last I saw, they get somewhere between $5,000-$8000 from Grundy county monthly for their cut of the fines and court costs. Catching a couple of kids is not worth their time. And most of the cops don't live in the village, so they don't give a shit. They should push for a residency rule, like Chicago has. Maybe they would care more then. Plus, anytime these cops go to court for the tickets they write, they receive overtime pay, so it is an incentive for them personally. Nice system huh.

I heard today that Casey's general store in Minooka was robbed again. Nothing in the papers about it, they are probably trying to keep it hush hush.

Yes, I am a female. I am a conservative, card carrying republican/independent thinker who believes that the problems facing our society today are caused as the result of left wing fanatic liberals who have hijacked our country and are driving it into the brink of oblivion. Most of this country is populated by conservatives, yet the liberals have infiltrated our government posts and are destroying our country with their lack of morals and ideals. Rock on!

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Virgo

You're finally at your best after relaxing and catching your breath for a moment. Now that you're rested, it's time to do some of the things you've been putting off lately. Make a sudden appearance to surprise someone from your past. No matter how many new people you meet, don't forget that old friendships are the glue that holds the relationship cycle together. Keep in mind that a present doesn't have to cost much, as long as it comes from the heart.
