If my wife and I want to go out and eat without driving to Jackson were stuck trying to think of a restruant to go to.The choice is hard because Savannah has no good place to eat.All the restruants suck, they all have the same menu.
They all buy there food from the same place and don't know how to make it good and orignal.Yes we now have the Huddle House for breakfast but lunch and supper there suck.If you want pizza you got to choices and they both suck. You go to a bigger city and you got the big name restruants but you also got your small ma pa places that can be really good but not here in Savannah.

in savannah:
both mexican places are wonderful.
uptown and guggies are great and have nothing like what you are finding at all the other places.
in pickwick:
mr c's is great. yes it is a pizza place, and the pizza is great, but they have other selections that are great as well. my faves are the pickwich and the hot wings and the buffalo chicken pizza w blue cheese.
jons pier.
i hear the mexican there is great.
broken spoke.
in adamsville:
the sawmeal. try the cajun smashed potato.
i hear the mexican there is great too.
i hear treat me sweet and kokomo's (both before you get to a'ville coming from savannah) are great as well.
good luck!
let us know what you try and what you find!!

I have an original idea! Why not try cooking at HOME! WOW! You could actually have any type of meal you wanted & the price is right too. Amazing no one has thought of it before. Jeez people!

Wish we still had kfc.

Anybody wonder why it was shut down? Could it have been the really nasty condition of the floors. ie grease after moping. Also the really slow service.

Wonder why it was so bad?

I heard the manager was stealing a lot of money..They should do background checks on the people they put in charge. There isn't any good places to eat here in Savannah..I guess we could go to the new pharmacy where kfc was and get us a plate full of pills..haha..like Savannah really needed another pharmacy.

KFC was a pigsty ,,even the damn sidewalk was grease coated. And nothing beats having a three chin 450 lb profusely sweating girl serving you at drive thru.YumYum!

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Taurus

Time is hurtling towards Christmas Day and it seems that you're in a panic about how you're going to get everything done in time. You may even have reached the stage where you've ground to a halt because you don't know what to do first. So take a deep breath, calm down and do things one at a time. Otherwise you'll end up feeling confused, tired and tearful.
