Ken Ganus Suicide

Does anyone know if there is any truth to the rumors that this young man, Ken Ganus (from Crump) did not really commit suicide?

We have been receiving some phone calls from friends of his who tell us that there is more to the story than was reported in the Courier & told by the Ganus family at the time of his death.

If anyone has any information I would deeply appreciate it as I am willing to start an investigation on behalf of Ken to get to the truth. If it was not a suicide then this young mans name should be cleared and the guilty party or parties punished.

I think you may mean the Ken Ganus who was this young mans father. That Ken (or Kenny as he was known in this area) now lives in Arkansas with his 2nd wife of many years.

This Ken is from his first marriage. His only son whom he even denies was his child. The Ken I am speaking of was born Dec 26,1979 & died Dec 1,2005 at the home of Bobby & Dorothy Ganus, his grandparents. My understanding is that only the grandparents & his girlfriend, Brandi was there when this happened.

I'm searching for more info on this horrible tragedy if anyone knows ANYTHING, please leave a note here so we can get in touch with you. This young man is not at peace & he deserves for the truth to be known!

Also, would the people who keep stealing the statues & items from his grave PLEASE LEAVE THEM ALONE!!! God is watching you & he knows who you are! Shame on you for taking those things!

I do not have to tell you who I am, anymore than you left YOUR real name to your reply above. I do know that something isn't right about what happened to Ken at that house & it's not just a few who thinks so!

Are you one of those people who were present when it happened? Highly improbable since 2 of the people are now dead. So unless you know something valuable about this case then shut the Hell up, but don't tell me I can't discuss Ken because I can damn well do anything I want to regarding this incident & finding out the TRUTH of what really happened that day.

Tell the truth, I know both Ken and Kenny Ganus.Are you aware of the fact that his (ken's) mother is the one that told his father that he was not his child? Also I think the funural directors would have noticed if something about the death of Ken was not right. Good luck with your research.

I'm a past friend of Ken and know his dad kenny as well.Sad that this happened to him but from what I was told is that him and his girlfriend were fighting and this is what led up to him shooting himself.I do not beleive his family had anything to do with this.The crump PD worked the investigation and conficated the weapon used.Ken was raised by his grandparents and was know to have a temper.I was told however that after this happened that the father and grandparents had to make the arrangements and pay for the services, His own mother did not even help with the funural.Sad but true.I hope that who ever you are that is attempting to find the truth finds a way to put your mind at peace. Seems as if you may have a problem with the family. We never know what people are thinking and we never find the answer we want when someone takes their own life. And as to the items missing I would check with who ever it is that maintains the graves, I know they sometimes remove items and discard them.Sorry again for your lose and hope you find peace soon.

Dear Tell The Truth, I don't know who you are but unless you wish to have a lawsuit file against you I advise you to confirm your information before posting it on the internet.ie( His only son whom he even denies was his child) I would like to see proof of your statement. Yes this was a horrible tragedy and one that could not be avoided, No one knew that he was planning to do this to himself. I assure you that the Ganus family had nothing to do with this. I don't know what business of yours this loss is but ask that you confirm any information you post.
As Just wondering stated, we were told at one time that Ken was not my child but that did not change our relationship. In fact this was told to a doctor in arkansas and not to us direct.
Again I suggest you let my son rest in peace.The Police department were called and did see the site and took the gun. I'm sure if they felt that this was something other than Suicide they would had done something at that time. We all would like to know why this happened but we don't have the answers.
So please watch what you post and post only statements you can backup. I have no problem filing a suit and I can find out who you are.

Enough of this is enough. Ken is gone and has been for 3 years and 3 months. Enough of the name calling, the accusations, and the who said what. Enough of the "this one did this and said this" and the other one "didn't do anything" .I have had enough of people coming to me and calling me wanting to know if I am aware of what is being discussed on here. Apparently no one knows anything else than they did the day he did it. So lets just let it go. To the anoyomous ones on here who smarted off, you better keep your mouth shut and stay out of my family's business. The rest of you, I know who you are already. This will be the end of this conversation. And trust me, Ken is in as much peace as anybody is. He still loves the ones he always did and that is enough to get through the days.

I think it's tacky and tasteless what has been said here and you should all be aware of what is about to take place since you want to run your mouth and tell lies.
I know this family very well and when Kens mother found out what was being said here she contacted her attorney. They are ready to file a lawsuit against those who made false accusations regarding her character,Kens parentage and the lies told. You cannot take back what you have said,what has been published online and what the proper authorities now have a copy of.
I can tell you that unless a public retraction is forthcoming very soon the mother is ready to go forward with her own lawsuit over what has been said here.
Anyone saying this childs father was someone else are flat out liars. I'd be real careful about what you say here unless each of you who said something about Kens parentage or his mother is prepared to be dragged into court to testify where you got your information.
That includes you Kenny Ganus who knows better than anyone that child was your own flesh and blood. You only started saying that to keep from paying child support to your own parents.
So stop the lies before you all wind up as front page news and are shown to be the liars we know you are.
