Hello everyone,
I am the director of the West TN Ghost Hunters Hardin County Division, a paranormal investigator and certified instructor of the paranormal. I am here to seek help findinf information on the Cerro Gordo Community Center which used to be used as a school. I have looked in lots of locations but come up blank.
I am seeking information on the person(s) that I might contact in order to do an investigation there.
I have talked to several people in the area whom all report strange noises, shadow figures, and and several apparitions in the vicinity at night. Our organization would like some help getting some kind of contact information so we can validate or invalidate these claims. Any help would be much appreciated.
Respectfully,
Casey

Not sure who to contact around there since Joe B passed. I heard there was some valuables stored there and lost. Underneath it or something.

Who exctly "certifies" instructors of the paranormal....is it a national certification process, or is there a UT extension that someone can complete online...

Are the tools provided, like a welding certificate, or do you have to own your own plasmo-tron and goggles to view the "other-worldly"

Your best bet would be to go to the Cerro Gordo fish fry night and flash your "credentials"....I'm sure someone would have something to say... call Charlie Nickle at City Hall (director of Animal Services)....he lives in that neck o' the alley, and I'm sure would love to invite you for the Cerro Gordo Fish Fry....

Any "haunting" done in Hardin County will be done by current residents - living. Any other said activity is punishable by law and violators will be tried by a jury of their piers.

ok, this is crazy, all i ask for is contact information for someone and I end up having to defend my field of research.. What is your problems.. seriously some of you need to do your own research about thi

ngs before being able to make valid arguments.. I didnt say anyone had to believe any of this stuff. I was just asking nicely for a phone number or something.. grow up and act like adults unless you really are kids..

The paranormal is something very dangerous to deal with if you do not understand and are not fully prepared for the events and consequences of venturing into it. Few have been affected physically. On the other hand, mentally, very few emerge as they went in. It is definitely an eye opener and not for the faint-of-heart.

Please accept my most humble apology for sounding uneducated on the facts concerning your research. While earning my doctorate it was a ciriculate requirement to study various realms. The paranormal is only one of many.

Greetings WTGH. Not everyone in this area is an idiot who thinks they must reply with a smartass remark to every post they see.

Perhaps you would have better luck if you called the local Board of Education and inquired who is responsible for the building now. Since they are the ones who previously were in charge of the school it seems like a logical place to start.

If that fails perhaps just drive by & ask one of the neighbors who is responsible for maintaining and upkeep and go from there.

I wish you the best of luck & if you will post your link here I would be interested in talking with you about a residence and another area in Savannah that may be in need of your services.

Never mind about the link. I see it above. Best of luck & if that doesn't work check back here as I have a relative who went to school there in its day & I'll ask them about it also if that will help you.

We had a benefit there almost 5 years ago. I will ask my mom who she contacted about it and get back to you. I would love to know what you find out about the place.

Go to this link & there's another site listed there where the group has another web site. I hope to hear the story about your home. It's good that some people have enough sense to know there are things in this world that others have not seen or experienced and will never understand. I hope you found a spirit free home this time.

In the fall of the year you can go to Shiloh Park after 12:00 AM and watch the fairies and spirit protectors if you're in tune.

Were you looking in the mirror when you saw them?

Why not go to the fairy web site and talk to them instead of being top asshole on here who has to make snide comments? I'm sure they will appreciate your lack of humor more than we do.

While you're there why not get a life and leave the rest of us alone? You're just making an ass of yourself and showing how ignorant you are about things you don't understand.

I don't think I deserve the top a-hole award. Since Guffaw made the best snide remark a week or so ago, I think he deserves this award. Thanks for recommending me though.

well, i for one find this thread pretty interesting. i think alot of people believe there are ghosts, etc, but dont like to admit it. for fear of being laughed at, or admitting that there is something out there so scary and unknown and unpredictable. all i ask of those of you hunting the unknown is to not make them mad!!=)

It was not meant to be "snide" or deprecating in any fashion....

If you were about to go diving, and the instructor told you that they were "certified dive instructors", it would only make sense to ask how, and when and where they were "certified"

Now someone comes along and states they are "certified instructors of the paranormal", and everyone takes it on face value....

With employment opportunities drying up nation wide, I would like to know where I can be certified too, in case my job as "certified ninja/assasin" gets outsourced or downsized....diversification is always good.

Daily Horoscope for December 18

Libra

Throughout the rest of the month you'll enjoy the security and comfort that you gain from being in familiar places surrounded by familiar faces. You won't be happy about straying too far from home, and you'll rush back there as soon as possible. This is a great time to consider ways in which you can improve the appearance of your home or garden.
