What is the new Mexican food place? What happened to Garcias?

It sux. Food is ok but service sux. Garcias is still there.

I ate at Garcias and saw things going on that looked like suspicious activities were going on there.
Five or six men sitting around a table with one occasionally going to the parking lot to meet cars? One going to the counter and accepting a hand full of money from a man who just walked in and handed it to him--no food exchanged. I'm just saying--- |

I ate at El Rodeo's and it is just as good as Garcia's if not better.
Service was wonderful and I think the prices just a bit cheaper. So go to El Rodeo. Capitalism rules!! |

I used to go to Garcia's all the time (limited options in big Ol' MTown. When the new place came in I gave it a try and have NEVER been back to Garcia's. El Rodeo has great food and we always get great service. I would never go to Garcia's alone because all the male workers just gawk at you and it's very uncomfortable. I have never had any feelings like that at the new place. Very courtious and professional. PLUS They have a LOT more desserts. I get a chocolate burrito every time. Sooooo addictive! I also like the atmosphere a lot better. More relaxed and roomy.....and cleaner.

Garcia's is great, and the so called gawkers, are good people,and very friendly.

I must not have ate at the same El Rodeo. The food had no flavor it was like eating paper and the prices were higher than Gracia's. However, the wait staff is very nice and professional but that is about the only thing they have going for them.

I stand by my love of El Rodeo. Others' opinions just show that different people like different things. Order your favorite at Garcia's, note the price, thhen wait a week and go to El Rodeo and order the same and note the price. For most people who love food, El Rodeo will win - for flavor and price - every time.

That is what I did. I ordered the same thing that I get at Gracia's and it was more expensive at El Rodeo. The "cheese sauce" that they put on it was like cheese that had been melted and then cooled off again it was not a sauce.
I think it is obvious which one most of the people in Morgantown prefer because when you drive through town El Rodeo will have one or two cars while at Gracia's they will not be a place to park. |
