Car rams into Burke County Courthouse

The man accused of running his car into the Burke County Courthouse early Friday morning said he was drinking before the incident.

Please have some compassion for Mr. Bristol. He was probably very intoxicated and needs help for alcoholism. I know him and he needs treatment. Let this serve as a wake up call and get him some treatment.African/Indian americans and Alcohol can be a dangerous combination. I am glad no one was seriously injured and I am glad Mr. Bristol was not hurt. I will pray for him.

As Christian as we would all like to be, defending another human that knowingly gets behind the wheel after consuming alcohol is beyond excuse. He, with his "problem" couldv'e cost someone a child or a child a parent. Unacceptable!!!
