Whats pathetic is you point of view. People have the ABILITY to go out and work. PEOPLE have a chance to work Whether it be McDonalds, or 2 jobs, or like a lot of lazy people out there collect welfare etc.(not all are lazy) ANYWAY animals arent people but mine come damn close to probaly having more compasion and sense then you. You probably sell them. Its easy money for you and its not really "work". People selling these dogs get real jobs not breeding puppies and selling them at a flea market. get real
doxiepoo with coccidia

my stepfather recently bought my daughter a doxiepoo from the inside place at jamestown we got him on a sunday by wed. he was very sick with coccidia we gave them 250 for the puppy and now 4 weeks later i have over 5oo in vet bills just to keep this puppy alive.I have asked the breeder to at least help pay the vet bills but after many emails back and forth he is no longer corresponding with me about the issue.I DO NOT recomend buying from them. coccidia is passed to the puppys from exposure to infected feces it can lay dorment but during stress it will flare up. ok well this 1 pound puppy recieved shots at only 4 weeks and was taken from its litter to sell at 6 weeks.I am not saying he is running a puppy mill but seems to me if he cared about the pups he was making money off of he would want to resolve this issue. just because you get shot records and registration papers does not mean you are getting a healthy puppy. i signed a health warrenty also but after reading the warrenty it only covers the breeder. flea market puppys are not the way to go thats for sure.Just to let everyone know our doxiepoo is NOW a healthy puppy and doing well. We love him and wouldnt take anything for him he is a little fighter thats for sure.seeing he went through 4 days of fluid therapy 4 days hospitalization antibiotic shots shots for his upset stomach and many nights of my 4 year old daughter waking in the middle of the while i was feeding him pedilyte asking if her puppy was still breathing. i spent many nights feeding him with a surynge cause he was to weak to eat. please be very careful when buying from the flea market.you can see video of our bubbie on youtube (bubbie puppy with coccidia)

I did what you suggested and not a single seller that had their 'puppy mill' kiosks set up out back had any of those things. Inside JFM the people panicked when I asked to see their inspection/license. Whomever profits from this, those who own and run JFM as well as those selling the sick and ill cared for animals are not interested in getting anyone a "good, healthy pet to enjoy for years to come". They are interested only in the profit. When I asked for the documentation of what type and when the shots/worming was done, the BS line I was given by everyone was they gave pups the shots themselves. So knows best you don't know...

I for one knows that JFM is not considered as a puppy mill. JFM simply has sellers of puppies offer certain breeds to the public at a more resonable price than expensive malls or puppy shops. All dogs that are sold at six weeks are expected to have their first shots before you can sell them there. Also if their over 4 months of age they must be tagged and have had their rabies shots. One final note just recently all sellers of puppies have to be expected by the state or JFM will not allow anyone to sell their puppies there. JFM is just trying to make sure everyone gets a good, healthy pet to enjoy for years to come. When purchasing your pet ask for shot records, but look for the State License then you will know that breeder or seller has had a inspection of housing and boarding of the pet you may be buying! If not licensed by the state then consider another seller who is.

I HAVE READ THE COMMENTS ON PUPPIES AND CARE. WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT I WAS THERE TODAY AND IT WAS REALLY COLD OUTSIDE. THERE WAS ONLY ONE DOG PERSON OUTSIDE AND IT WAS PIT BULLS THEY WERE GOOD SIZE AND IN GOOD SHAPE. I EXPECTED TO SEE LOTS OF PUPPIES THINKING I WOULD BE REALLY UP SET. THE SHOP INSIDE WAS WARM I WAS IMPRESS WITH THE HEAT AND IT WAS REALLY CLEAN THE PUPPIES WERE PLAYFUL AND THEY WERE FEEDING THEM. SURE LOOKED LIKE EVERYONE TOOK GOOD CARE OF THE PUPPIES JUDGE FOR YOURSELF ! I WAS SURPRISED HOW CLEAN AND FRIENDLY EVERYONE WAS INSIDE AND OUT. IT WAS COLD WHEN I WENT TO THE POUND TO LOOK FOR A PUPPY.

It seems that the only people here with their "proverbial" panties in a bunch are the breeders who want to charge $400-$500 for an animal that I never intend on breeding in the end. Ahhh everyone has an agenda these days.

Uh... I dont know about where you live but its a law here that you cant sell puppies until they are 8 weeks old. It's critical they are with their mother and siblings read about it
I really don't you read very well, go back and read again, puppies can leave their mother at 6 weeks of age, if they are eating well enough on their own. I breed dachshunds and they are usually ready at 6 weeks. Because the mother is also not letting them on her. Maybe you should know what your talking about before putting other people down.

People are buying and reselling dogs there without knowing where they came from, sometimes with worthless papers.

I know this because we gave away a litter of puppies a few years ago to a woman there, and have seen her picking up giveaway and cheap puppies there. Now, we see her or a guy at Roses parking lot selling puppies for $2-300 claiming they have papers.

A friend of mine bought a dog there. Well, first off, the papers were no good for registration because there was no idea who the parents were or what litter they were from, and also no-one would have registered them anyway because they were mixed breed. The dog is cute and healthy, but not what it was presented to be.

dogs arent the only sick animals that are being sold at Jamestown Flea Market. I have bought two rabbits in the past month and they both died. The animals are the ones suffering.

Unlike PEOPLE, domestic puppies rely on their owners to provide food, water, and shelter. PEOPLE are responsible for their own livelihoods - heat, food, or jobs. If that's a cause you are passionate about - attend to it. Don't post irrelevant information on a blog about dogs at a flea market.
