The Moreno Valley City Manager Robert G. Gutierrez set to Retire in Late December.

The Moreno Valley City Manager who has been caught up in legal issues surrounding an extra marital affair and his alleged use of privileged information, to harass, annoy and stalk his former mistress has announced his intent to retire as of December 26th, of this year. Now with that chapter of Moreno Valley politics out of the way, the only question that remains is who will apply for his position. Will it be Planning Commissioner Michael S. Geller, the man who has in the past unsuccessfully sought that position? It would appear that the time is right for him to make such a move, with the current city council all but 100% under the control of local developer Iddo Benzeevi of Highland Fair View.

Now having geller in that position would truly be scarry.

Get to know this man and understand for yourself why it would be a bad move.

However, His Law Partner Stewart and two of Benzeevi's minions ( Hastings and Molina) and then running scared Flickenger, we may very well see them hand this over to him.

Cant anyone see that all these guys know each other developer, broker, council, attorney...and are connected in some way shape or form.. damn is everyone blind not to see that!! what the hell has happened to the City of moreno valley.. that they would let something like this happen. Moreno Valley is getting over run and nobody sees it.

Funny how Bob's court date got pushed to Nov - we need him to be found guilt NOW. But no..... so the Council will be giving him two extra years of retirement.- Sucks!

And Geller as CM would suck for the employees!

Interesting Moreno Valley...the City Manager, Assistant City Manager, Deputy City Manager and Finance Director all took thousands in wasted salaries and now get to leave Moreno Valley laughing all the way to the bank!

Moreno Valley Sucks! It's been run to the ground by all these people! Isn't it sad that all the major businesses are on the Riverside side of Day st. Moreno Valley needs fresh talent not a bunch of old farts with nothing better to do!

I agree Moreno Valley is the pits with the corruption and lack of brains in City Hall.

It's time for Moreno Valley peeps to kick Flickinger and Stewart out of office for lousy records they have (except in their own minds)in 2010.

The rest of the loser council need to be recalled, this time by people who don't allow themselves to be infiltrated by "paid spoilers" to sabotage the process.
