It Really makes me mad that a woman can have sex with a guy who she knows doesn't give a crap about her and wouldnt be father material. So...I guess she'll have fun raisin' the little rugrat to be a wonderful member of society, given her good decision making... You know who you are...i hope they will come knocking on the door... and give you birth control.

I don't know anything about your situation to comment on it anyways, but it make me wonder...is there a test for losers? If so, what would the test be to determine if a boy was a loser or not?
How about if he wears his baseball style hat in wigger fasion...turned to the side?

Well some guys r good guys, but u have to realize that stuff happens, u could be married or in a relationship, or having a nite of fun, who knows, but both make the decision to be together. If a kid happens to come in the picture, the guy should have to pay child support, exspecially if he doesnt have anything to do with the child! But thats my opinion, every body has one!

We have had this topic on here before. I'll give my observation again. In a relationship please wait 2 years before you have kids. Guys, if you are man enough to make a baby be man enough to take care of it. Women, if you have a baby with these deadbeats be prepared for the comments you know are gonna come your way. Guys and gals always be good to your kids even if you can't get along because they suffer the most.

Its BS that a male can participate in creating a life, but then be able to opt out while the mother does everything on their own. Then, actually have the nerve to just walk out without a second thought as to the welfare of his child. Yeah, maybe the relationship didn't work out, but does the child deserve to be treated like dirt by their own father? What will happen in the next few years when this child starts asking about their dad? What is someone supposed to say to their baby at that point? "Sorry, Daddy doesn't love Mommy anymore so he left?" (Not a real example, just stated for effect). It just pisses me off so bad that someone would do that to an innocent child.

I agree and this has happened to me. Well, he hasn't completely left our childs life, but he could do a lot more financially, all that is left up to me. But I blame myself too. I should've been smarter and made sure we had no chance of having a child. Even though we were together 5 years before our child, I knew he wasn't going to be the father that children need. So women need to take responsibility also. We know what can happen when we have unprotected sex so we need to be prepared for the very real possibility that he will be a deadbeat dad. It's not right, but it's what happens. I hope we educate our kids so they are prepared. This shouldn't happen to any child or any mother.

Most "boys" NOT MEN in Morehead need a vasectomy... it's not just the responsibility of a woman to protect herself from getting prego... they give away free condoms at the health dept. And most women who have kids face the responsibility, the boys don't! Cowards, pieces of crap, and going straight to hell hopefully. Who cares the babies are better off without someone who doesn't love them. Get their rights taken away and get them out of your lives for good.

todd sexton is a classic dead beat dad. He has five children under the age of five and doesn't support them. He lives in Jackson, KY with his mother and has a much older sugarmomma living above them he's having an affair with. Why does the Social Services not keep this on their radar???

i couldnt agree with you more and that is all some of them do it for and so they can diss and call guys bad names. which i do agree some guys are just deadbeats but not all of them. some of the women just simply refuse to let them see the children and want to have them for the money so they can sit back and draw off them so they dont have to work.

Think about this, not all men are deadbeats, what about the cases where the father pays his child support, never misses a visitation, and asks the mother constantly if he can see his child more, and at the same time the mother tries to make it seem like he wants nothing to do with his kid, and the child's mother also has another kid with a guy who actually does want nothing to do with his child, she tries to act like neither of the kids dads want their kids but in reality the one actually paying child support gets screwed because the mother acts like its going to kill some one to let the father see his child more than 8 (technically not even 8) days out of the month, ladies don't deny ur child's father the right to see his child then put him on blast saying he doesn't want his kid, I do know there are other cases where men want nothing to do with their kids but not all men are the same!!!

this should be titled "deadbeat PARENTS" not "deadbeat dads". There are good and bad on both sides. My husband paid child support and HAD HIS KIDS FULLTIME. Then when he tried to get the child support dropped so he could afford to take care of them, the mother suddenly wanted custody when she was "too busy" before it became an issue of money. Ive seen both bad moms and bad dads. Why does raising kids always become an issue of "getting a check" or "giving a check". It takes more than money to raise a child. yes, if one parent is absent from the kids life, he/she should financially help the other parent. If one parent is "deadbeat" and wont spend time with his/her kids, then the parent who has them fulltime should be glad they get all the time with the kids. I cherish every minute I have with my child. I would much rather have the TIME than the money, if I had to choose. If I am doing ok financially, then I couldnt care less if I get money from the dad. Its totally his loss because my child will grow up and know who was there for her. I will be the one nurturing/loving/teaching/guid ing, etc and thats the most important to me. Just please dont involve your kids in the adult matters, dont tell them that "your dad doesnt love you and wont give you money" or "ask your dad for some money" etc. Thats between the parents. Ive seen parents have their kids do/say things to irritate the other parent. Thats soooo wrong.

I completely agree. The child does not need to see the dirty laundry and doesn't need to be brought into the altercation and "take sides." Little boys and girls grow up and make their own decisions. It's what we have to deal with. Money doesn't matter, it never should. There's alot more that important.

If your going to put out there that the mother doesn't want the father to see so said child.. I'm sorry children now is it. Then write the whole truth... Maybe mother tried and spent an entire day talking to lawyers and social workers about " restarting " visitations when in fact its not up to anyone but the judge... Think harder sweetheart.
