Judged: 2 2 1 What a petty little man. 1. Romney cant win in November. He is behind in EVERY POLL except those by FAUX NEWS. 2. The Chief Justice decided the case and I dont think the court will even reconsider. 3. The AMA, Tea Party, Rupert Murdoch, The Koch Brothers, Mitch McConnell, and many more spent enough money to settle the national debt trying to get this defeated. Didnt Work. Thankfully, MONEY became a lesser issue than human lives. 4.The American people finally won one. No one gets excluded in spite of the ridiculous medical costs and the Insurance companies trying to hold our lives for ransom. 5. It IS the LAW of the LAND. Get used to it. 6. Your and Mia's whining on here only makes this victory sweeter. |

Judged: 4 4 2 As you are unfamiliar with the real law of the land I am posting it for socialists such as yourself, those who take over our freedoms through Executive fiat and bad court rulings..ObamaCare and Roe v. Wade. If you have the depth of comprehension of the average public schooler you made need assistance in figuring the example below out...just note- it ain't the way, or the bill that the Supremes considered...it is not the House version. Section 7 - Revenue Bills, Legislative Process, Presidential Veto All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills. Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States; If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law. But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by Yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively. If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law. |

Judged: 4 4 2 Health care reform isn’t important just because it expands access to quality, affordable care, but also because rapidly rising costs and the fact that 30 million Americans don’t have insurance are weighing down the American economy. Here are four reasons why the Court’s decision is good news for the still-struggling economy: 1) Obamacare will reduce the deficit. The Congressional Budget Office estimated in 2011 that Obamacare will reduce the federal deficit by $210 billion over the next decade. The law is expected to save about $1 trillion over its second decade, according to other CBO analyses. The CBO found that repealing the law, as Republicans attempted to do in 2011, would increase the deficit by $230 billion over the next 10 years. 2) Health care costs for young Americans won’t skyrocket. More than 3.1 million young Americans have insurance thanks to Obamacare. Without the law, the cost of acquiring an equivalent health care plan would have risen dramatically at a time when young people are still struggling with the effects of the Great Recession. 3) Millions of jobs will be created. Health reform will help create roughly 4 million jobs over the next decade, according to a 2010 Center for American Progress report, by reducing the cost of health care and making it cheaper for businesses to hire. The law will create between 250,000 and 400,000 jobs a year, and they will be spread across sectors: according to the study, the law will help create more than 200,000 manufacturing and 900,000 in the service sector by 2016. 4) It will be cheaper for employers to provide health care. American businesses are under tremendous pressure thanks to rising health care costs, and these costs are often passed on to customers (one study estimates that each car sold by General Motors contains $1,200 in built-in health costs). The ACA, however, will make it cheaper for businesses to provide care, and not just by reducing the cost of care. Small businesses are already receiving tax credits contained in the law to help insure their employees, and it has already offered more than $4.7 billion in reinsurance payments to companies that are providing health care to retirees who aren’t yet eligible for Medicare. Even a judge who was a finalist for appointment to the Supreme Court under George W. Bush agreed that striking down health care would have had disastrous consequences for the American economy.“States’ rights are important in many spheres, but the benefits of a national economic policy must also be considered,” federal appeals court Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson wrote in February.“A vibrant economic order requires some political predictability, and the prospect of judges’ striking down commercial regulation on ill-defined and subjective bases is a prescription for economic chaos that the framers, in a simpler time, had the good sense to head off.” Fortunately, a majority on the Supreme Court agreed. |

Judged: 4 4 2 Here are the top 5 ways Obamacare helps women: 1. Women will no longer be denied insurance coverage for gender-related reasons. In today’s insurance market, it is common for insurers to refuse to cover women because of gender-based “pre-existing conditions,” such as having had a Cesarean section or being the victim of domestic violence or sexual assault. Thankfully, this practice will be outlawed under Obamacare in 2014. In the meantime, adults with pre-existing conditions who have been uninsured for at least six months can purchase affordable coverage through temporary Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plans. 2. Women will no longer be charged more for their insurance coverage just for being women. Under a practice known as “gender rating,” insurers currently charge women higher premiums—up to 150 percent more—than men for identical health benefits. As a result, women now pay $1 billion more than men each year for the same health plans in the individual market. As of 2014, however, under the Affordable Care Act, gender rating will become illegal in all new individual and small group plans. 3. Maternity care will be required in new insurance plans. Coverage for maternity care—health care that only women need—is routinely excluded in the individual insurance market. Only 12 percent of plans sold in the individual market even offer maternity coverage, which is frequently inadequate because of waiting periods or deductibles that can be as high as the cost of the birth itself. But once Obamacare is fully implemented in 2014, about 8.7 million women will have guaranteed access to maternity care in all new individual and small group plans. 4. Women will be guaranteed coverage of preventive services with no cost sharing. More than 50 percent of women have delayed seeking medical care due to cost, and one-third of women report forgoing basic necessities to pay for health care. But under the health reform law, insurers are now required to cover recommended preventive services such as mammograms, Pap smears, and well-baby care without cost sharing. More than 45 million women have already taken advantage of these services. And starting this August more services, including contraception, gestational diabetes screening, and breastfeeding supports, will be added to the list of preventive care that must be covered at no additional cost. 5. Women will gain better access to affordable health insurance. Starting in 2014 women and their families, as well as small businesses, will receive tax credits on an income-based sliding scale to help purchase insurance coverage. This will help individuals who earn up to $43,000 per year and up to $92,200 for families of four. Also in 2014 up to 10.3 million women will gain insurance coverage when Medicaid expands its income eligibility to include people with incomes below 138 percent of the federal poverty level—less than $15,000 for individuals and about $31,809 for a family of four in 2011. The health law also eliminates Medicaid’s categorical requirements, so that low-income women who meet the income requirements can be enrolled even if they have no children and are not pregnant. To learn more about the benefits of Obamacare for women, see the Center for American Progress report,“Women and Obamacare.” |

Judged: 2 2 1 The health review panels will have to get strict and quick to reduce the incoming and increased health care utilization. Those risk benefit models will be utilized and so rigid that libs will see what it is like to be in bed with an indifferent socialized medicine machine. The deficit will continue to rise, as no government program has EVER come in under cost consistently-especially one this massive. With Obama and the libs supporting Gendercide through Planned Parenthood, perhaps through their encouragement they will reduce the number of unwanted female fetuses, and also those of minority background (surely making Margret Sangers" dream fully realized.) Additionally with women now having increasing college degrees, pregnancy will be delayed or perhaps limited to 1 child per household- this will further lower costs associated with women. Likewise with new models calling for fewer mammograms breast cancer will rise and health care boards will limit medical access as it will be deemed too costly or too aggressive and opt for palliative care with a quicker demise of the financially draining patient. The libs will paint a utopia, just be careful of what you have asked for- you may not like the results that you will receive. You will then have no recourse unless you leave the country a find a country willing to fulfill your lost American dream of living free and without government encumbrances. and oversight. |

Judged: 3 3 2 Healthy eating is influenced by access to healthy, safe, and affordable foods, as well as by individuals’ knowledge, attitudes, and culture. Communities can support healthy eating and make healthy options affordable and accessible, and people can be provided with the information and tools they need to make healthy food choices. 1 Increase access to healthy and affordable foods in communities. Increasing access to healthy, affordable food options provides people with the opportunity to make healthy choices.197 Providing healthy foods in existing establishments, increasing the availability of full-service supermarkets and grocery stores, and supporting local and regional farm-to-table efforts (e.g., farmers markets, community gardens) have all been shown to increase access to healthy food.198 In addition, providing a greater variety of healthy options that are affordable can help increase consumption of healthy foods, as the price of healthy food choices is frequently more expensive (per calorie) than less healthy food options.( Should the marketplace determine where grocery stores are placed, and aren't they a profit driven sector- or will the government give subsidies to place grocery stores in crime riddled areas, or extreme rural areas...or will the government get into its own line of stores? Perhaps Uncle SAMs) FOOD POLICE @ WORK SITE, SCHOOL, ANY AGENCY RECEIVING FEDERAL FUNDS ***2 Implement organizational and programmatic nutrition standards and policies. Nutrition standards and policies (e.g., food procurement policies) that align with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans increase access to healthy food and beverages and limit access to less healthy foods.>>> Such policies can be implemented in work sites, schools, early learning centers, institutional cafeterias/food service, hospitals, and living facilities (Carry your lunch to the construction site ? Subject to food police review.) Like to get a snack out of the vending machine, perhaps some afternoon chocolate...GONE...if food police says it doesn't comply. GONE-your right to choose, unless you want what Uncle Sam, "Zer0" and Michelle want you to eat...enjoy your tofu. |
