I'd take Pataki back anyday of this mess we have. You have to be doing something right as a Republican to get elected 3 times in NY!!! I had high hopes for Spitzer but too bad he turned out to be a degenerate... Your point was that Skelos is to blame for this coup mess.. My point is it's takes two to tango and the weak minded Dems that crossed party lines are as much if not more to blame for this disaster.. Why wouldn't Skelos or any other person do the same?? He convinvced them to make him Majority leader again...
