Most voters don't even know that there is a New York State Senate. Quiz them on who their Senator is and they wouldn't know. They don't even know what a State Senator does, or what a state Assemblyman does. The might be able to identify who the Governor is.
Come the next Election Day, they go in the voting booth and just pull the lever of their political party affiliation or of the name they recognize from the media.
We have been re-electing the same people over and over again for one reason, there are NO TERM LIMITS in State government as well as Federal Government in the Legislative Branch.

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing the same way and expecting different results. Aren't we as voters insane to expect something different from the same thing. Democrates and Republicans are ruining this country. Maybe we need a new idea. A no party government. Anyone runs and the person who gets the most votes wins and governs. NO party affiliations no political baggage just ideas. In order to move forward we need creativity not dogma. We can not get there with the boys club we have now

Brilliant idea. The problem is these political machines are SO powerful we would almost need a revolution to get them out.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Virgo

If the past few days have been a blur of cooking, washing up and wrapping paper, take a break today and catch up with loved ones. Have a long talk with one of them so you can find out what they've been doing lately, or discuss a topic that concerns both of you. Right now, you're blessed with plenty of diplomacy so the conversation should go well.
