Sugar is sugar. There is no difference in the sugar produced by the new varieties.

No difference?? These ROUNDUP READY beets contain amounts of ROUNDUP a chemical with many undesireable effects on humans.

The beets MAY contaian a small amount (I don't know and am unwilling to take your word for it) but do you know how they are processed to make sugar? the process takes care of any impurities.
