Listen! Im not happy about this either,I sit in Brawley traffic, then plp traffic, then 77 traffic.I recieved a mean face on my post from (judge it),I felt really bad and decided to back off. Are there any private buses we could hire to transport to PLP? I live down Brawley School Road and would like to organize a bus from Brawley Commons, like what Cannon does each day. Is anyone interested or know of a service to hire?

I live down brawley also and would love to get a bus service going. Im at the very end and would like to have it come down alittle further than that, But would be very happy with what ever we could come up with.

I live right off Williamson just near Brawley Commons and would also be interested in a shuttle of some sort. I am even open to adding people to a carpool. I currently drive my child and one other down the road, they pick up. I would love to not have to do it every day as I sometimes work til midnight or later and mornings are tough. I'm sure there are others that would like to have a day here and there that they get a break too.
Oh and before the wolves come out of the blogger closet and accuse me of whining when I am the one who chose this school.....Yes, I did choose this school for my daughter and I will always make sure she gets to and from there....I am simply trying to make life a little easier for busy working moms and dads.

We need to find out how many families would be interested, and then check into the services that would be available. The more students that ride, the cheaper it would be.

I live in Huntersville and would love to participate in a bus service. I will look into it. The bus service can start South and go north. I will be happy to work on this!

I called charter bus service companies today and I was told that they can do it for certain Occasions, but to transport children every day they need to have a special license for that etc.

Maybe we can have everyone specify where they live and we can figure out a carpool for some of us.

I have a high school student and live in Huntersville. I'm very willing to work out a route to travel and pick up more students. I pass so many PLP moms as I'm driving my daughter to school. It would be great to save on gas and time with carpooling...

I went as far as considering quitting my job, buying a bus from Iredell/Statesville (they have them for $2500 currently), getting insurance, and starting my own business. It could be a lucrative thing if you think about it, but it has its cons....cost of gas, liability, what if the bus breaks down, etc. It was a good thought though. Maybe someone else would want to tackle it. I don't have the startup money anyway.

I'm coming from Charlotte and would love to join up with a carpool in Huntersville.

I can only participate in the mornings though.

i come from south Charlotte i take an Express bus up 77 to Davidson collage and walk 2.7 miles from there to PLP. so a bus or carpool that would pick me up at Davidson would be incredible helpful

What time do you arrive at Davidson College?

I must commend you for going through all of that to get to PLP!!

Are you the student I see walking every morning usually around 7:15 heading out of Davidson? If so, I have thought about picking you up on the way, but didn't want to seem like a crazy mom. I come through there with three other kids in the car, and would be happy to pick you up so you are not walking along 115.

Yes i am that student you see every morning, its not that bad walking every morning.

I usually get there about 6:00 or 7:00

I wouldn't have a problem or think you where crazy if you stoped to pick me up

when i say i get there i mean Davidson its about a 45 minute hike from there
