Bonnie was such a sweet loving person, very creative, artistic, and family oriented.
She just wanted the same things most people want: to find a loving protective partner in her life.
It is outrageous that this man was allowed to go free after previous violent offenses to murder my friend, and now let the press slam her reputaion.

I knew Bonnie for almost 25 years. She was a wonderful friend & helped me many times in my own life. She was caring, loving, forgiving & loved people. She would give her shirt off her back to a stranger. God Bless her family! I will always remember her beautiful personality & smile. She will be missed by many.

thats our courts of today,they are so over crowded they cant keep all the offenders in jail and they are back on the streets to kill,wound and mangle women.as far as her being a hooker if she was thats her business,if(mostly) men wasn't out looking for them there would be no need for them the way i see it.

Bonnie, was never these things people are saying about her, and i wish they would all stop, so she can rest in piece now and the man who did this to her suffer!! she was a wonderful smart person, who would never do those things and she didnt deserve this horrible thing to happen to her, she was one of my fav. aunts, and was to most of my cousins, she was always there for you and was so kind hearted and loving.. its a traggic that this horrible thing happen to her.. were all going to miss her so much!!! RIP Aunt Bonnie!!

jessica,im sorry for the loss of your aunt,i agree this is a tragic thing that happen and i hate it for you and all of her family. dont listen to the ugly things people say about her. its dont matter as long as you loved her and she loved you.thats what counts.the rest is in god hands and now u have an angel to watch over you.take care

I wish my very very sincere regret and loss of bonnie, this man or animal as I call him has effected many. My very old friend owned the house where Bonnie was found she was duped by a sociopath man who had no regards for life! this has resulted in her life being turned upside down and her child whom was very well cared for taken away, She moved into that house because she felt it was a great place to raise her child and because of manipulating persons of evil like Bernard Lamp, a child's life is is also missing a mother whom loves her more than words can describe.Unfortunately people have scorned my friend like she has some fatal disease and have not offered much support. I applaud the courage it tool Leslie to pack up all her belongings and move to a completely different state for her daughters chance at a peaceful life which as of now we all know was turned upside down by someone who acted like a decent person and turned out to be a killer of life both in this world and out rest in peace Bonnie and may all your loved ones get the support they need to get over the loss of you.As far as my friend Leslie please for those that grieve Bonnie pray for Leslie and her daughter to recover from the sins of this Animal!!!!! and realize they are VICTIMS TOO thanks and God bless all

Why then was she an escort? This happened directly across the street from me so I know that this guy deserves to pay for his crimes. I am not saying by any means she deserved this, but why was she mixing herself up with someone this creepy. I would be scared too death to meet someone online.

Well if you were there and you knew exactly what happened then you should have stopped it.

If all these people knew things they claim why didnt any of them step forward before it was to late? Name calling and slander isnt the way. These "neighbors" who felt so strong about wrong doing, well they are just as guilty for not reporting these things. I have rode by this area and never saw any such "ghetto" I grew up in Harlem and neighborhood troutman, you have no idea what a ghetto is. Next time you feel something is wrong, YOU need to proactive or it can happen to you too.

I have no idea if you area woman or a man but doyou see the advertisements for match.com people do meet good people online i have been with my wife for over 12 years and guess where we met people should not get the reason why this poor woman died for no reason really but a sick man . It certainly was not the internet that killed her

it's awful what happened to bonnie but the girl that's being punished is also a victim she has many problems but she wouldn't hurt a fly. besides eating,the only other thing she,s ever been in love with is her daughter to take that little girl away from her is unjust

It was Eros.com she worked for! He met her on Craigslist.

Does anyone know if this man was prosecuted for what he did to Bonnie? I miss my friend. I think of her often & remember the wonderful times we had together with family & friends. She was the kindest person I've ever known. To know her was to love her unconditionally. I thank God I got to speak to her one more time before she was murdered. God bless this family & the people that loved her.

No Joanna, he has not went to court yet. It was just recently rescheduled from November 16 to March 8, which of course with the court system around here, it will be postponed again.It will probably be about another year or two. Iredell County let him off easy before and will probably do it again. He is being held in Central Prison for safekeeping until then, which he probably feels very comfortable, since that is where he has spent most of his life, in a prison.

Dee is correct in her statement above, however, I Iredell County will ensure that he does not get away with this, this time. They have mud on their face from the plea bargain that was granted to him 30 days prior when he was released, right before he killed Bonnie. Hence this is why it is taking so long to bring him to trial. The county is crossing it's "T's" and dotting it's "I's" before taking this to trial to ensure Mr. Lamp is brought to justice.
