I have been at Di Giovonni's Coffee House in Osgood too. It has a great mural of Italy. I love the atmosphere as well.

Are you dip-sticks trying to get a discussion going about Osgood? Sorry to inform you, not much to talk about in that one-horse town. Try Milan, home of the 1954 State B.B. Champs, right up there with Al Bundy's 4 touch-down passes for Polk High.

Steve I was reared in Moores Hill. You don't have to tell me about one horse towns. None of those little towns are worth a hoot. Many of the residents of Osgood, Moores Hill and Milan are pot heads and idiots. I sure don't regret leaving that area in 1971!!!!

I grew up in Osgood and graduated from Jac-Cen-Del High School. While I can attest to the "one horse town" comments, I also wanted to refute mentions of the town being "full of idiots and drug addicts". All towns, Osgood not excluding, have thier share of bad apples. For the most part, though, Osgood is a sleepy little town, off the beaten path, where people love their children, go to church, farm their land, and pay their taxes. If you want your children to grow up learning the value of hard work and a dollar, Ripley County is a good place to start.
