I realize it seems like a lifetime ago that the 11th U.S. Congress was seated but I do believe Harry Teague defeated Ed Tinsley and NOT Steve Pearce. When is this newspaper going to STOP being so sloppy?

Viva Steve Pearce and down with Harry Teague!
What a surprise

Having gotten a taste of the good life while living high on the hog in Washington ruining our economy, Pearce now knows no other life.

Get it right sun news- Pearce, who was defeated by Teague in November, 2008, released the following statement:

Pearce will win the CD2 hands down. Teague's staff can not even answer simple questions.

New Mexico needs a legislator back in D.C. that is acutally familiar with the ropes. We need a member of Congress whose staff can actually answer simple constituent questions and who at least know what the 2nd Congressional District of New Mexico is and what the ideals of the constituents are. Steve has stood to those ideals before and I truly believe that he can and will do it again!!! If the 2nd Congressional District of New Mexico has any brains, they will elect him again!

I have contacted Congressman Teague's Las Cruces offices several times concerning my case and they lost the paperwork and the person I spoke to did not even know that the Air Force and Army were not the same department.

I hope other in the CD two will not suffer because of Teague office.

I'm glad someone is going to run against Teague. We have the highest unemployment and lowest wages and Teague just wants to help his rich Oil buddies out.

Pearce said he is disappointed in Teague's voting record in his first six months in office because it does not represent the best interests of New Mexicans.
Saving the planet isn't in our interests? Pearce is just a donkey who is holding NM back.

Teague has done nothing but drink the cool aid, protect his oil interest and watch out for the electric bills of the western part of his district. Meanwhile those of us in las cruces have just been hit with a proposed rate hike by el paso electric and that will double under crap and trade. Solar and Wind will never be able to provide the energy we need because to build it on that scale has always been stopped by the environmentalist and will again. If they had proposed 60 more nuclear plants it may have had at least a chance of succeeeding

Looks like Teague is partly an environmentalist, he voted for clean air acts. Here's how he voted, and, here's what he did not vote on or for, he didn't vote only 4 % of the bills before him.
why am I doing homework for republicans? because they don't know how to google!

That's too far right of an analogy for me to accept, do your own research, and open your eyes and mind. really, the klan?

Steve abandoned his congressional seat in what appeared to be a ladder-climbing boondoggle that left his district (and NM) in a precarious political position. While I'd vote for just about anyone besides Teague, I hope we don't get burned again if Steve looks to use the seat again as a launching pad for his other aspirations.
