I am voting Borders, for several reasons. The top reason is the he cares for his deputies. He knows them by name without having to look at their nametags. Do you really think the others running would come out and play softball, like he did. Look at what he wears to work, not a suit and tie, but the same green uniforms everyone else wears. He shows that he is one of them, which makes him easier to talk to. He does not need to be the "corporation leader" like many need to be. He cares and that is the number one reason behind my vote.

Borders was a Deputy before he became a jailor. He ran the prison the way it should be run. All the employees under his guidance will tell you he is a good man. He is honest, straight forward, he does not use his position for his own good. Get out there and meet him you might find out what and who he is.

Have you ever heard the term "Rectum Cranial Inversion" this refers to a person who has their
head up their behind. Borders is the Sheriff because an idiot Governor urged by a person who at the time was thought to be the most likely person to be elected Governor of Florida, who reportedly has an alternative lifestyle, selected him to be the Sheriff of Lake County after the untimely death of Sheriff Daniels.
Every one who works for a Sheriff in a certified position can be referred too as a Deputy Sheriff.
Borders entire career until just a few months before Daniels death was in the jail. Osceola and Lake County. He is the least qualified person
to seek the office. Of course with 750 persons plus families running around the county making like they are supporting him, he has a big ego.
He is there because of happenstance..........
He is not qualified and probably could not run his
own household, if he had one!
Now, get off the couch and show us what kind of stupity you can really conger up! Decent folks in Lake County are not as stupid as you and yours would like to think. They know what's going on
and they're keeping notes and waiting for the election. I want to hear from you on August 27th 2008

well put!! That is the concensus of most of lake county citezens. Its amazing how their is 2 people writing all of the bad things about mysinger. lcso employees really should be doing more with their time.

side is because he is spending so much time supporting Borders. AS usual you are the last to know. Tell him to keep holding his ankles

miracle your husband might become a 4 stripe corporal. If not he'll be looking for a job.

Well you know what they say about opinions

It's kind of funny that all the mudslinging is coming from one side of the track. It sounds to me like someone is running scared.

I have worked for the Sheriff's Office long enough, so that I have worked for both Mysinger as road Patrol Capt and Sheriff Borders. I can tell you, without hesitation, that Sheriff Borders is the man for the job. Mysinger will, "with all his wisdom" run the Sheriff's office into the ground. Mysinger's latest statement, that he holds the approval of 70% of the Sheriff's office, must be a typo.

Aside from that, do you have nothing better to say, then to drum up felonious propaganda about the Sheriff's lifestyle? Come on.

Im Sure that there is some kind of false hope with any canditate that is choosen. What counts is standing behind who will be elected as the New Sheriff. It takes knowledge, Know how and experience and the ability to be a good leader instead of a follower.
What Im reading and hearing is Sheriff Borders knows everyone's name & he has given pay raises across the board (I would be happy to work there to). You also like it that he puts the same color pants on that the whole department wears. What difference does that make? This is not a part of the voting issue.
For all those out there who have taken the time to write negative comments about Mysinger why don't you try to take some time and look at his Education, Criminal Law Experience, and serving his Country proudly. These are issues that are more important then slamming his hair.
