It is unfortunate for us all that the wages of peace are inferior to the profits of war.

YO WENDY keep your window up and shut up. you are not in charge of any one or their driving with the exception of your daughter who I could see with you is most likly a nervous wreck around you. Your daughter is lucky not to have taken you to the hospital with a knife or bullet hole or at best a FAT LIP not that there flapping out there in the breeze. I hope she grows with more knowledge than your showing her. Next to the seat belt warning light on the dash you should have one that flashes with the brakes WINDOW UP AND SHUT UP MOM [probably not the first time you have heard this]

The first sentence says it all, "My daughter is an inexperienced driver". Perhaps Columbus Day on the interstate wasn't the best place to put her in the drivers seat unless you believe in "sink or swim" learning methods.

I'm sorry Vidda, but I couldn't get past this sentence, "Since their are few horrors associated with Peace". First to come to mind are Austria and Poland and it doesn't take much more relfelction to come up with the Catholic Church's stance on WW 2. I am sure that we could pull up many many many instances where "peace" in the face of evil, resulted in the slaughter of innocents. Be careful of such sweeping statements when you write. They sometimes stop people in their tracks and keep them from seeing your intended point.
