While they should NEVER have shot the cats, I can almost understand their frustration. Cats should be kept at home just like dogs should. I was awakened a number of times last night with cats fighting outside my bedroom window. Cats walk all over my vehicles leaving muddy paw prints all over it. Cats dig up my gardens and defecate in them. Last year, somebody's cat crawled under my porch and died, and I had to fish its putrid carcass out and dispose of it. And my cat is in my house, never outside, so why should other people's cats intrude upon my life? I HAVE written my legislators, but they can't even do their most basic job of creating a state budget. I don't imagine they are paying much attention to any of the other chores they are supposed to be attending to. People, please, KEEP YOUR CATS AT YOUR HOUSE!

It just shows you what kind of world we live in now... shooting? Really? They're cats, and shooting them means someone wanted to shoot something bad. Will you rednecks ever learn? Guns are loud and the results are messy. Do a little research and you'll learn that the lily patch behind your mama's double-wide can do the trick without the need for firearms.

Stupid rednecks...they should use the guns on themselves instead.

Or shoot at the cops..which will end in the same result. God, the less rednecks, the better the world will be.

I think the only practical answer here is to arm the cats. I'm going to write my congressman and demand that cats be afforded the right to bear arms.

We all know, the only way to prevent gun violence, is to put guns in the hands of every man, woman and child. Isn't it about time we extend the same rights to our beloved pets? Without that sort of protection, this gun violence will merely escalate, and then what? Cows? Horses? Pigs? Bullet holes really ruin leather jackets and pork rinds.

And we need to take action NOW. Obama promised he would take away our guns, and I'm just as surprised as you are that now, nearly a year later, it hasn't happened yet. But that doesn't mean you should stop hoarding guns and ammo. Quite the contrary, this event alone marks the extension of violence of man vs. man, but now man vs. animal. And just the possibility of a pet packing heat will deter future gun crimes like these. Watch out, mailmen.

I just hope they invent laser blasters soon, because I think they would be easier to paw operate. After all, if they can play the keyboard, they can shoot a gun...

Dude, shut the eff up you moron.

This is why I haven't been posting here, mental-midget-morons like you who have to make EVERYTHING into some sort of political insult. You seriously have the comprehension and the intelligence of the cave man you evolved from. I'm talking liberal, conservative, republican, democrat and self-righteous fundamentalist nut job. Would all of you just give an effing rest already, or at least say something clever.

I hope they find the people who did this. Wish the punishment would be the same to what they did to these animals.
I am for keeping your cat's in your house, the less stray cat's the better, however there are other options, animal shelters!

First of all, yes, I was trying to be funny about the cat shootings. Because that's what I do. If it was people, I'd still be cracking jokes. Which shows me nothing other than you need to lighten up.

As for Lil John... Jeffrey Dahmer ate cats?
