Will the news be doing the follow up story on Mr. Billy Brown's case on July 25?

I'm anxioous to see if good ole Herbie and the rest of his crooks fall with Mr. Brownnose.

Do think Brown will be charged or will he have enough pull to make this go away?

Hard to say. They're all a bunch of crooks, Brown and the Sheriff.

Brown was telling anyone who would listen that he wanted to run for Sheriff.He never recieved support from the people or the Sheriff.

So the desire to run for sheriff without the sheriff's blessings is an excuse to steal mine and everyone elses taxes ??

It is not an excuse. He needs to pay for his crime (jail time and pay the money back). Brown is using that for his defence. He is saying that he is being rairoded because he wants to run for sheriff.

Why do they allow him to keep extending his trial date? He did it . It is time to pay .

Yes, it was delayed again. It really was no surprise. His son's hearing dates have been delayed also.

He could walk. He has the ability to slip and slide away with things. Hopefully they will be able to stop all of the horsing around and put him away.

Just wanted to inform the public that the sob story that was so neatly published in the Progress was a sob story to gain sympathy from the public.
The statement that Billy Brown made in the Prattville Progress is misleading. He does cut grass for a living. But he forgot to tell the public that he has used the county coroner's truck to do some of his personal business. He was seen using it when he was cutting grass and he used it to transport a family member on personal business. Billy Brown also stated he was living in a travel trailer. The travel trailer is parked behind his doublewide trailer. He also lives with his on again off again girlfriend (he may still be engaged) in a lake home that he claims that they bought together. So don't let the smoke screen fool you!
The attorney should look at his past financial records. Such as bankruptcy. That is a motive.
The accounts that are being requested are not accounts that Billy Brown had access to. So there is no relevance in why they should be part of his court case. He is just trying more delay the court case.
Hopefully they will be able to complete the case. Guilty!! Pay the money back to the county.
