this scum will get 60 days in jail and be back out on the street to look for his next victims. this scum should be lock up for life because he'll always be a pervert or let the prison justice take care of him.

Schools and parents need to step up their cautions to kids to NEVER go anywhere with anyone alone. I know they are stressing this now but it needs to be made a priority so as to prevent incidents like what happened to this poor boy.

What a j@rk! I hope he gets the worst of the worst. How can anyone live with themselves after luring kids and attacking them? Specially since there's people out there that would pay to have that done to them. Hope they have a nice wedding dress made out of duct tape for him wherever he ends up.

What "registry" are you referring to? There was no mention in the article to he being a registered sex offender, but rather that he had admitted to 5 previous assaults and that that he was picked up for a parole violation. Question, where was the 15 year olds parents in this?

Wonder where he lives. We have 160 registered convicted felon sex offenders living in the alamito beach neighborhood.

Oh really, you don't think just maybe that a 20 year old that would do this sort of thing just might have some serious issues going on his life, probably having been molested himself at one time, such that the SRO registry would have absolutely no baring on his behavior? Seriously?

Anything monitored by the State is a failure. We didn't elect pols who care about moving the State in a positive direction. Two Lowenthals is the best LB had to offer.........Get a grip. Pitiful choices like ours can only lead to pathetic out comes. LB is a felony sex offenders paradise. Our version of Dem pols prefer coddling the least among us to creating any sense of a positive, hopeful Community of citizens.

And when he gets out of prison, he will be tracked with the registered sex offender system. He is 20 years old, he didn't have a prior conviction to put him on the registry (you have to start someplace).

The registry is doing it's job. NO system is 100% effective (probation and parole anyone?).

We have no way of knowing how many times a parent has logged on and found out a neighbor is on there (or a relative) and they cautioned their child to stay away from that person and just maybe they might have prevented their child from being abused.

It is a worthwhile system.

At either case, is STILL did not prevent it from happening. Regardless of his "issues". But that is just my opinion, if that is okay with you.
