Was this one of the homeless guys that smokes pot on the smoke-free rec trail? Maybe one of those homeless jerks that yells obscenities at joggers? Perhaps the drifter downtown who gets mad if you don't hand over your wallet every time he wants a Big Mac?

I'm surprised this isn't more common. The homeless problem is out of control in Monterey.

You are so right about this! Seems like the rec trail has become tribal central for these bums.
