Marshall Frank of Carmel wants us all to be servants of corporations. His idea is that government be the tool of big business rather than the mechanism by which We the People govern ourselves. Dictionaries have a term for a system which combines the corporate world and government. It's called fascism. It's ugly, brutal and eventually leads to bloody revolution.

He claims the killer at Fort Hood has been made a victim. Baloney! there are few people in America that want anything but life in prison or the death penalty for him. What some of us want is to try and understand why he chose to commit his crimes so similar acts can be prevented. Why is it that any effort to gain knowledge is met with distain by conservatives. Is it that a well educated population will refuse to be corporate slaves?

MPUSD needs to realize that times of economic stress are really not the best times for major restructuring. I understand they need to cut, but combining small schools that are currently performing well may not turn out the way they intend.
