I agree with this bill, these rabid animals deserve to be put to death!!Their is no social/moral reason to keep them behind bars! Their actions should be measured by their total disregard for human life!

Much as I might wish, our legal system in this country does not become retroactive. If we pass a law today, it will not affect anyone who has committed the crime the law is intended to impact BEFORE the date the law is changed. Changing this law will assure that should we ever have another horrific circumstance like this, that the appropriate sentence be passed down. These animals will skate because of the legal structure in place at the time of the murder.

I hate that idea too. But it's our legal system, and that's how it works.

The law might allow the state to execute a future killer and that is a good thing.

An executed criminal never reoffends.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Cancer

If you've been troubled lately, now's the time to seek a friend's counsel. Even just a little tea and sympathy will be nice, so plan to have lunch with someone simpatico. Everyone needs to spend a little time with someone who won't judge them; Cancer is often wonderful at giving this sort of unconditional affection but often has a harder time seeking it out. Accept a little TLC... you need it now.
