Why if this is such an issue the two board members are concerned over did they take the settlement money awarded. If there goal was solely to "expose and correct bad behaviors at the nonprofit, which sells $140 million a year of discount food through churches." why did they take the settlement money. Did they in fact take that money. That leaves me to wonder about their own personal motives.

Let me add: It is a good thing to have people who are concerned for the business practices of no-profits, and I do think, if the accusations are proved to be true, then restitution should be made. I am just curious as to why if these board members were so concerned about this, why would they take the money awarded. If they did take it, are they donating it? This just places this issue in an entirely different light if they keep that money.

September coupons are a GO!!! For September the coupons code, "10FallSP1" is 10% off Special #1 Meat box. "SeptSig5" is 5% off "Signature box" of Angel Food. The coupons are online only and can only be used for the first 2000 orders!

And we're supposed to continue to contribute to outfits such as these. Makes me wonder! Praise the Lord and fill my pockets. Those monies would have purchased many, many Special #1 Meat boxes.

You are not supposed to contribute - Angel Food Ministries is a NON CONTRIBUTION/DONATION Based organization. It doesn't solicit donations or tithes. Please, if you wish to write exasperated comments, know your facts. This is a self perpetuating non profit that actually donates money back to the communities. Angel Food Ministries sells discount food and gives so far $25 million back to communities it serves in actual cash donations.

While creating new millionaires from every day ordinary people. What a program. Also distracts unsuspecting kind hearted church going people. They think they are doing good work for their Lord, when actually they are unintentional volunteer employees of a multi-million dollar grocery scheme. If these church members were not being drawn in by this scheme who knows what real good might be accomplished by them.

the food is rotten and outdated too. You can go to quality food and get better groceries. If they were concerned with the welfare of the community they would give the food away instead of charging in the first place.

The food is horrid - even the "plain meat" is injected with fillers and god (oh sorry, je$uS) knows what. Ick. I wasted money we didn't have on food we couldn't eat. Even my ravenous 10 year old boy pushed his plate away. Restaurant quality my Aunt Fanny - it's sub par for an elementary school cafeteria.

If the this place is so Jesus filled why are they charging in the first place and not to add if they were found doing wrong with monies that was meant for the organization but some how ended up in their pockets . Just because they may say Jesus doesnt make them christians ! Some of the biggest devils are found in the church with a mic in his hand . Just because it says church on the sign out front doesnt make them exempt from doing wrong !

I have used Angelfood for the past three months it saves me a fortune! The food is better then what we get at Walmart or the Military Commissary and about 1/4 of the price of Food Lion and Harris Teeter. It has never been outdated or nasty. Some people just have to complain about everything. No one says you have to buy it go elsewhere but as far as I'm concerned this saves me a fortune we can eat steak instead of hotdogs for about the same price. Don't knock it until you've tried it. My family loves it.

Maybe this is why they have laid off many people the last few weeks. So they can pay their judgment cost.

Treat your employees like you want to be treated.

They are as close to a cult as you can get without the name. Whose bylaws do they follow? Methodist? Catholic? Baptist? Wingo's? If you chose the last answer you are correct...Ronald Terron has obviously not been to their services as they spend at least 30 minutes a service stressing tithing's importance and how they require all employees to give at least 10 % to a church(mostly theirs). They have a perfectly legal scam of the government in play, but they shouldn't be living like rock stars in the name of Jesus. There's a special place for this family...

If these folks offer you Kool-Aid (already mixed) at a reasonable price, turn it down. It may be left-over from the JIM JONES Ministry era. Some of the most hypocritical individuals I know are religious folks. Praise the Lord and screw you with your pants on. Beware! Jesus Saves (we used to say:) Green Stamps.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Scorpio

A loved one is extremely upset today, and you'll soon know all about it. Things are out of proportion, so a minor hitch becomes a huge drama that means you've got to drop everything in order to calm them down. Hey ho. At least it won't last long. If you're doing some last-minute Christmas shopping, you won't have as much patience as usual and nor will anyone else.
