Stratford residents demand more hydrants after fatal September fire

I hope the residents don't expect the town of Stratford to pick up the tab to install water mains in their neighborhood. They knew full well that there were no hydrants and city water when they bought or built there homes. As I recall, the developer of this neighborhood had money troubles and was selling the lots at a huge discount - I guess water mains were not much of a priority if the price was right.

Wow, you are even more heartless and self serving than me. It would probably cost under 10 dollars per stratford household to cover the job and youd rather them suffer cause it dont help you, my kind of guy
