Greedy Fingers...

Please don't instruct me as to what to come on here and do or not do. I started this topic to get some input of what other people feel regarding the current operations of the Wildcat Association.

I do not know if there are other parents on this forum that may be able to offer some input BECAUSE I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT. I am here not to be negative or critizice without any attempt on my part to make a change for the positive. I am not lazy and I am a proactive person. I just haven't quite realized what I need to do to make a change.

Just as someone else stated... there is power in numbers and this is just a forum that I came across that may enable me to grab some ideas or input from others. Would you like to help me? I suspect the answer to that is "NO" so maybe you should pick another topic to respond to... one that interests you.

Why do you think that none of the parents fought this? Why do you think that none of the other parents fought for the coaches that left to stay and why do you think that none of the parents are involved enough to see what is going on? This is a youth organization. There are no examples being set for these kids. There is no concern for the children. It is so corrupt now.
I agree that they lost a very good coach. I also think that the officers are taking the money. A new president can't be elected because you can't vote unless you attend the meetings and no one seems interested in attending. I would like to see the existing president impeached because I feel strongly that something is wrong. I just don't know how to go about this with no proof. I can go to the meetings and demand that I see the books but if they ignore my requests, what am I to do?
They threw the best coach out of the league He was there for the kids and he had been the best coach around for the board that trew him out they need to have their head checked because the best coach is gone and to tell you that all the kids loved him and they will fight for him thank you and remeber that the best coach is gone

I agree... it is interesting to get opinions from other parents and coaches how they view present and past coaches.

I sure am concerned about the current condition of the organization and have been concerned for some time.

I agree that the officers did sabatage some very good coaches last year. It is a real shame and I hope that their behavior is challenged. They should not be permitted to get away with the things that they get away with. This organization is suffering.

There was a coach for the Midgets and he did really good with the team and the kids liked him. He went on and coached the Rams 9th grade team and they didn't lose a game.

A long time coach was forced out by this regime for what ever reason. The way it was done was humiliating and calulated a coach that put so much time in for mon city youth football should have a graceful exit!!!

I agree!! I think he was forced out because they wanted his position so that they could coach their own kids and have more control of the association.

There could be an audit if the parents who are really concerned keep talking and go to the right people. Get the newspapers involved. Get the leagues board involved. Maybe newspapers would elect not to report on the story but they may print an "editorial" written signed "concerned parents" who knows?

If they have nothing to hide they should welcome an audit. It's only when someone has something to hide that they fight audits and standing behind what they do. If there is no audit, these parents may not know where the money goes but it is a pretty good indicator that something inapprorate has occured or is occuring and that certain people do not want it to be officially brought out into the public eye.

This is all a joke, ya'll threw one of the best coaches out who help start the wildcat program, and now new ppl are trying to run the program who know nothing compared to the guy they threw out, J B ( initials of the person who ran the coach out )will never run this program or benifit the kids as well as the coach who they ran out, I don't need to say the name of the coach because if you know wildcat football, than you will know he is the face of it. Point Blank, ppl dont know what they did because now the wildcat program will go to sh*t

How do you "demand" an audit? Who performs the audit? Who do you ask?

If you would like to know who the best coach was I will tell you He strated the Monongahela wildcat midget league and coached all them years and still coached after his boy was done playing. You can aslo ask any football player that he coached. They will tell you the same thing. He also coached football while he was fighting cancer. He would go line the field for the games he also stayed and cleaned the field after all the games He did not have to But he did ,because his heart was there for the kids. He did over 100% for this league and he gets treated the he did this year. This parents will regret it beacuse the best coach was thrown out of the mon city wildcat league. He is also the father and grandfather around. Ringgold High School also gave this man a plague. They now how hard he worked at being a coach and also was there for all the kids. I feel fighting cancer and still going to practice and having dinners and picnic for the team is great. Years ago he would even dress in uniform and go and pratice with the kids, I have not seen any other coach get dressed and go out on the field with the team. Just remember the best coach is Tony Bove

He was forced out the wrong way Like you said they want to coach the own kids but you know what half of them do not now how to coach. They should have keep that coach because I feel that he would teach the kids better then the ones they have now
