What drives our genes? Researchers map the first complete human epigenome

Full story: www.physorg.com

Although the human genome sequence faithfully lists every single DNA base of the roughly 3 billion bases that make up a human genome, it doesn't tell biologists much about how its function is regulated. This article introduces the completed work of differential controls of gene expression. This control is integral to cell differentiation, disease processes, and fitness.

Bump for all of the "creationist/IDers" who want to discuss real science.

Hey, I bumped up a bunch of threads discussing REAL scientific finds and research so that the "creationists/IDers" can display their vast scientific knowledge and insight, but only two actually got bumped to the top of the pile.

What gives?

I take it that you misunderstood the word "drives" as used in the original headline question.

Well, I basically put up interesting research which may be only quasi related to evolution so that people (especially the drive by's ) can find it easily.(I also post the same stories in the science, biology, and paleontology forums in an attempt to pull scientists to the forum.)

The topics typically get saved and used as fodder against the common enemy.

And yet it is that I have, on more than one occasion, demonstrated that you do not know a damn thing about that which you profess to be so fluent in, be it on the subject of "science, biology [or] paleontology"...Imagine THAT!

So is it that you just wish to pick the minds of ACTUAL scientists, biologists &/or paleontologists for your own personal gain, or is it that you have an as of yet unrealized desire to prove just how big of an idiot you are? Seriously!

You, Kong, I've demonstrated to be one of the most idiotic, so why do you insist on badgering me? Haven't you had enough already?

Look, I'm not trying to bash on either you or 'noodly', I just do not appreciate people that profess to be knowledgeable on a given subject only to then be proven that they do not know jackshit about it and are only talking out of their arses.

Tell you what though, you open an thread on a topic that you are actually literate in and I will come along and engage in a lively discussion with you on it, if it is in my ability to do so,but please, PLEASE, stop engaging in conversations about which you know little at best while all the while erroneously professing to be quite knowledgeable...It doesn't do anything for your credibility and is as embarrassing for me as it is for you.

I never claimed to be an expert on the ToE.

Hell, I have learned MUCH just by being on these threads and reading the posts from many of the participants. Of course, I read the links that they provide and this teaches me more than the thread or the post themselves.

And where specifically have you shown me to be "the most idiotic"?

And I repeat: WHAT is the Theory of Intelligent Design?

Maybe you could enlighten me. I was just wondering how inviting experts to a debate in their fields of study qualifies anyone as an idiot. I haven't been a member of these forums long, but from what I have read nobody has claimed to be an expert. I am studying to become an engineer, which requires understanding physics. I don't claim to be an expert, but I could still take part in discussions on the subject, could even in some instances correct the mistakes of others. By your logic it stands to reason that if I were to participate in a discussion on the topic of physics with the "experts" I would only be proving myself an idiot because I don't know as much as they do. Do you not realize that this is how people learn, by talking with the people who know more than them about a given subject?
