D.N.A Evidence Could Crack Mongo Murders

i lived in mongo for about 5 years. i must say to the family, i am deeply sorry for your loss. even so many years later. i found this site searching for the ufo siting in mongo back in 94. now that i've read these posts for three hours i must put in my two cents. a close friend of mine was an ex boyfriend of amanda's and wanted to visit/console her a few days after the murders. so i drove him to amanda's boyfriend's mother's house on cedar lake. from the second we stepped in the house i got a very strange vibe. he was obvioulsy tweaked. and the way he talked to her about it, trying to get her to forget about it. days later, i found very strange. she was very disturbed, telling us about the condition of terry and darleen. i mean, grossly. it was very disturbing. her boyfriend even brought up something about life insurance money. i believe he or someone he put up to it, committed the crimes. now that i've read about her being strung out on meth, the pregnancy, the abuse, the bust at the house. it all adds up, to me anyway. i rode the same bus as amanda in school. i used to ride quads through trails near the anderson house, even mushroom hunted the property. it is a very sad situation. my heart goes out to the anderson family.

u say the condition of TERRY & darleen however, AMANDA NEVER SAW TERRY!!! ONLY DARLEEN.... so how the hell did she know the condition of his body what did she say????? how he was laying etc etc etc where he was at in the barn excatly, was she giving very detailed info about HIM???? if SO I WOULD say then she HAD to have seen HIM BEFORE the POLICE FOUND HIM!!!! this could be a very relavent piece of information THANK YOU

Please come back and post anything else you might remember about that night. If you knew the Andersons then surely you would want to help give them the chance to rest in peace when their killers are brought to justice.

well, arrested on a warrant, then let out on bond with no questions asked....sounds fishy to me....all the people i know that had warrwnts on meth charges were not JUST let out on bond....things don't just add up like that specially in lagrange county!!!!

i have never talked to anyone about the day that this happend. i used to work for a contractor and on that night we were intstalling an outside wood burning furnes that was going to heat two small lake cottage style homes, one belonged to the daughter "A" and her boyfriend and the other belonged to a friend of the family. we worked into the night around 10pm. being only ten feet from the house, we could hear her crying inside(windows were open) for hours. But the one thing i remember most about that night is when i heard her screaming, "I can't believe he did this! I can't believe he did this!". shortly after, the boyfriend came outside looking very angerly and allmost giving off an evil and dark vibe, he walked passed his yellow Nibloc company pick up truck stood next to us and asked when we where going to be finished. we picked up and left soon after and returned some days later to complete our work. Throughout the rest of that year i had heard from acquaintces in and around the area that the murders were drug related and that the boyfriend had something to do with it. i know of some of her friends and one in particular that was the local DJ and was arrested last year on heroin charges. i believe that they both know something and it will only be a matter of time. my prays go out to them.

no name joe, have you told this account of the evening to the local law enforcement working this case? If not (and from your saying you've never told this to anyone, I'm taking it that you haven't)... please do! While it's interesting reading it here for those of us who are following or are deeply invested in seeing justice done.. it's vital that anyone with ANY information speak to law enforcement.

Can you remember if there was any other company at the house when you heard this?? Do you remember what time/what date/night? Was it the evening of 21Oct?

I ask becuz we all were at the cottage/trailer house that evening Dad and Darleen were found and we were all trying to comfort her since she had walked in and found the body of Darleen... A horrible vision to recall over and over again - i imagine.

i heard that the news crew were in the area, had to come and find out for myself. i am glad to hear that the word is getting out there. my family and i say a prayer every night for terry and darlene.

nonamejoe, please come back and share what you know and please, please contact LE ASAP. It is very important and you could help to solve this case.

One other thing comes to mind about that night, one other person did show up to the house that night that i had recognized, most people around here know him as "Big John" , usually wears a cowboy hat and is very tall, late 20's. He evidently is a friend and stopped over to pay his respects and support. Not sure how long he was there because we left soon after. If you're from around this small town you probably know who I'm talking about. Not sure if i should post his full name, he may have talked with the police by now.

Hi Joe! One of the vehicles of interest following the murders was a butterscotch Chevy S-10 with primer on the door. Could the Nibloc truck be considered butterscotch by any chance? Thanks for your info!

Yeah John-O is pretty well known. Wears a black or dark cowboy hat, dark eyes, too. Nice enough guy. He helped the family move stuff the day after the murders, until he got into it with the son-in-law of Terry over something or other.

I know who your refering too. He was/is friends with them.

He was at the house too. Did not make a great impression on myself nor my husband. Never extended his hand and introduced himself while he was helping himself with taking Dad and Darleen's stuff off the property - said he was following orders.

I pray that sheriff has spoken to him and maybe his information might help...

So far after 3yrs and counting - does not appear too.. but never know.

That's pretty cold to not even introduce himself! Even if he was a great friend to "A", he could have at least tried to make himself appear compassionate or act like a normal person would at such a time. So much coldness from so many people during such a heartbreaking time.

Keeping that in mind.. it is why we were and STILL are so hurt.

It could have been handled so much nicer and with a bit more compassion. Instead it was down-right RUDE and abrasive.

How do you NOT feel there was/is a connection...somehow/someway.
