Coach Eoff

Ok Now heres a topic for everyone to voice their opinion about our coach. My opinion is he dont give a dang about our boys.

Very true!!! He has ruined a team that could have gone far!! One of the players has tried to get back on the team and Coach Eoff will not let him back on. They have even went to the school board and they wont overturn his decision. Why do we even need a school board if they wont grow a sac and do somethan!!!!

Hes doing his job leave it up to him to decide who plays and who don't. As far as who hesndareing it's noones bussiness what's he does with his private life

I think they have grown a pair. The boys made a choice to quit sometimes you can't go back. That's part of life lessons learned. You play what you got its not a yoyo your either in or out. You don't quit on your team. If they are such a valued player and the others are not why quit stay and be a team. I think the coach should stand by his choice.

THANK YOU, I totally agree with you. They are QUITTERS and should not be let back on the team under any circumstances. Those QUITTERS should've put a little more thought into their decision!! It isn't a school board decision you bunch of morons, it's the basketball coaches plain and simple. As for you people that think I'm an Eoff supporter you're wrong, he sucks and can't coach for shit. That is a school board decision and he will be gone!!

If you knew why some of the players quit you would have quit to..... some people would like to see the boys back on the team. they would help a lot more and maybe the team wouldn't look so horrible!!! Its funny someone who quits gets hatted on more than the ones who " teabagged" another kid! But that's right their dads are on the schoolboard they can get away with anything!!

I don't hate anyone the whole point of ppl being upset over tea bagging is no one gets punishments for the crap but some kids catch hell over stupid simple things. We are tired of different punishments for certain ppl it should be the same. AND IT'S NOT. As far as the coach if It's that bad parents need to stand up but to just quit. I know what my kids go through if I don't approve I let it be known. That's why mine no longer go there all schools have issues but BIC is pitiful. Sorry the boys quit life is hard get a helmet and hit it hard and strong. There are kids that walk in that school on a daily bases and is bullied. They tell, did any one see? Well they say they didn't do it. Why is ones word better than another. Tell your kids ya love them and their worth more than what that school say they are.

I know why they quit thank you very much...hmmm I wonder who the people are that want the QUITTERS back on the team so bad????? I'll give everyone 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count!!! lmao

What does teabagging mean? never heard that term before.

Yes I know why they quit...the QUITTERS didn't put enough thought into their decision!! They just got mad like little crybabies and QUIT on themselves, their school, their teammates and everyone else involved. So they are suffering the consequences now and there is no going back, it's a good life lesson for them! They are not getting back on the team and the sooner they realize it the better off the QUITTERS will be. Eoff may suck as a coach but he is just like any other coach should be when it comes to discipline, do things his way or don't let the door hit you in the azz!!!!!

Hasn't one of them quit last year then got back on. After a while enough is enough you have to grow up and be there good or bad. It's not a if its my way I'll play kind of game. You said the best players quit and you can't win without them. Well sounds but the others stayed and they are toughen it out. Way to go coach a lot of these kids need to be held accounted for their actions on or off the court ball player or not its past time for a BIG CHANGE at that school.

Im sure the kids have moved on to another subject yet all of people keep it stirred up. And it really doesnt matter what your opinion of the Coach is because you dont hire or fire him. He is the Coach and he makes the decisions. So just drop it and talk about something else. Whatever happens happens... Be positive talk about good things in the town. Maybe some of these kids are they way they are becaue of you people...they learn from example.

The coach has to go. Not because of the quitting, or teabagging, but just because he cannot win. No, its not all about winning and losing, but he knew or should have known when he took the job at our school that he was expected to WIN. We have a tradition of winning. He has been mercy ruled (or 30 pts before that rule) more times in his BIC career than all other coaches in BIC history put together, including Bridges and Galyon before he improved. It is a total embarrassement, and I wouldn't blame every kid on the teams from quitting.

We have a great group of talented kids from Jr. high all the way down to 4th grade, and he has begun the downfall of the future of the program with his Jr. High performance this year.

Contrary to other posts on here, the board is aware of the problem, but you just cant' fire the coach, just ask Manila. But you can be sure it is a frequent topic of discussion, off the record before and after board meetings. Only when they can come up with an acceptable "reassignment" can they proceed to remove him.

Make your voice heard, you know who your board memebers are. Just drop the teabagging crap and Tate quitting crap. Offer concrete reasons to them as in the kids lack of repect for him, his incompetence as a coach, and the embarrasement it has become. Those are facts, not opinions, and that will get him reassigned.

And the talk in the community will put pressure on him to leave gracefully.

They can REASSIGN HIM!!!!! Baseball coach....cook in cafeteria.....concession worker.....clean commodes... the board has no balls and never will....

The problem with BIC basketball is there historically there is a lacking elementary program. For the most part, the elementary coaches over the past several years have not been able to instill that passion in the players they need to have to be very good junior and senior ball players. Talent will get a person some success but to be a standout they have to have that passion. Rose and Rolland instilled that passion for the Monette campus and Ballard did the same for Leachville, but there has been none since then. Too many parents get irate when their "allstars" don't get to play as much on the elementary teams and have cried to the administration to the point where people who have no idea how to coach are coaching. Who was coaching these boys in elementary? How did they coach? Did they try to play everyone pretty equal or did they try to develop a winning team? Then we wonder why our junior and senior high teams struggle. I am in no way saying that none of our elementary coaches are not qualified, but there are some that are definitely lacking that qualification.

None of these boys have that passion. Sure they may like to play basketball but they are not going to go that extra mile to succeed. As far as this bunch was going to go far, get real. This bunch has always just floated along without putting much effort into it. They are boys enjoying life without taking anything serious.

I have always supported Coach Eoff and I do not understand some of the things he does regarding coaching. But, I am not trained in coaching, and therefore not in a position to blast him about his techniques. That is the school board and administrations responsibilities. Don't critique someone until you have been in their shoes.

One of the biggest problems with the players are the parents and others constantly in their ears telling them how great they are and how they would be state champions if they simply had a different coach, someone like maybe "Bill the Chosen One". It may never dawn on people that "Bill the Chosen One" could look down the road and see what the talent level or the situation with our elementary programs were and knew what was ahead for several years and his ego could not take having to deal with losing seasons.
