Washington Twp Supervisors need to go

What in the heck is going on in Washington Twp lately? The just "laid off" the police chief and fired another officer. Why don't they put a big sign up that says, Welcome criminals to Washington Twp - you're welcome here. The supervisors are a joke. They care so much about their road department but not about their police force. Well, at least the criminals will have nice roads to run on after break into your houses. Oh thats right they won't have to run, there won't be any police left. The B.S. what they are doing to the Rostraver EMS as well. The police and EMS have done us well. LEAVE THEM ALONE. I thought we defeated the Nazi's in World War II. I think they just went into hiding at the Washington Twp Supervisors building.

I still never heard what the reason was for laying off and firing the chief and the officer.

Smith Twp in Washington County is not much better. We have one cop on duty at a time, and when they have a call (which is often) they shut down the police dept. Even in the middle of the day they are not there. What happens if you have to make an non-emergency police report (file a complaint, or get information,etc)?
The police phone number goes to an answering machine! I am not kidding.
It's getting to the point where crime really does pay.....

How do you know this? Is this something that you are assuming, or have you actually heard this from a credible source?

IM SURE you have, that smell stays in you vehicle miles down the road. i guess when they were searching they didnt smell a body back there, nor did any of the many people that live around where he was found. or maybe he wasn't there for all that time, no you know what..i KNOW he wasn't. in october 2 months b4 they found my brother my family and our friends conducted our own search, thorough search, and it included the area he was found. he wasnt there. so to say that the person who is blaming the police is assuming...possibly. but rightfully so.

you need to stop electing inbreds...everyone in that town keeps breeding with each other...and eventually you have a city of retards...which now run your city... it's also about who you know and the good ol' boy system...think outside the box and do research on candidates...look at past history...Stephen baker...that was a mistake..the citizens need to take control and stop complaining.

I feel for the Marish family and their loss, however I still don't believe that Chuck Yusko and Jamie Miller are the best people we have to run our twp, and how the hell can she give her nephew a raise, that's right she has family on the police force!!!! And appoint her lunkhead husband to the water authority??? Something smells fishy in WT. Andnot to mention who moved into CAS when she gave them the boot, but her husbands union! Whenever these two are asked why they accomplish nothing in the community, they have only one response..... Joanne is bad!!!!! Take some responsibility for your short commings Jamie and Chucky!

It is time for a change.

I have lived in Washington Township my entire life, and I have a large family that lives in the Twp currently.
I am so glad that they finally removed the Washourtownship website, because it was so bias and ran by Jamie Miller and Chucky Yuskos groupies.
In the past election I voted for Jamie Miller, because I thought that she would do a decent job. Boy was I wrong. I should have seen it coming. I went to school with Jamie Miller and she was a trouble maker back then and she had got worse now. She thinks that she owns the township and she can do anything she pleases.
Look what she had done in the short time that she had been in as a supervisor.
1.) Caused total havoc in the police department, with the township having severe lawsuits filed against them for different issues with the police department.
2.) Thrown out the tax collector, Isnt the tax collector the one that brings money into the township.
3.) Fired the police chief, and hired a relative of hers as "Officer in Charge". Bet everyone did not know that.
4.) Thrown out the ambulance service, that came to our rescue when we had no one, in 2002. When CAS got into trouble with the IRS.
5.) Threw out the ambulance service, and brought in "her and "her husbnands" union that they worked for.
6.) Brought in her husband to serve on the municipal board. Which is totally wrong in my eyes.
It is sad that Chucky has a 9th grade education and follows Jamie around like a puppy dog.

Jamie Miller and Chuckie Yusko are a joke. What they have done to our township is a joke. I am so glad that the light is finally shining on what Jamie is all about. She stated that she would not take a paycheck, in which she does. She stated that she would not take health benefits, "In Which She Does". She stated that she would make the township better, what has she done for us, nothing. It is time that she goes.

I am appalled that you rejects would post such nasty comments about the best supervisors this township has ever had. Jamie and Chuck have done more for this township in one year than all the years combined of Latkanich,Yetsconish, Baker, Summers, etc. Jamie is at the building constantly and as much time as she spends there - and at home - she DESERVES a paycheck. As far as her saying "she wouldn't take a paycheck", well she'd sure be an idiot not to with all of the time and work she does. You don't see her going on company time to do personal work like the former supervisors and Chuck too has proven all of his campaign promises. They both promised to CLEAN UP THE TOWNSHIP and they sure did get rid of all the scoundrels. I'm just disappointed Latkanich is still on board, doing absolutely nothing, and getting FREE hospitalization. Doesn't she have a conscience? Furthermore if you're going to offer comments on this blog site, get your facts straight instead making up lies. If you're saying Jamie has a relative on the police force, then you may as well say the Pope is related to Obama - it's that far fetched. I may be over the hill but my mind is sharp as a tack and soon EVERYONE will be saying WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP IS THE BEST with Miller and Yusko being the TOP DOGS! They're sure putting Big Bad Mike Z in his place and once the Spaniard is gone, it will be heaven! God bless you, Jamie and Chuck, and please know I pray for you both daily with what you have to deal with. And PLEASE - just because I pray don't say I'm SELMA RUSSELL 'cause she's a menace EVERYWHERE SHE GOES and the biggest hypocrite in the world! She sure ain't goin' to heaven, I'll tell you that. We just celebrated the birth of the Christ Child, are about to begin a New Year and can't you hard headed hunkies put the past behind you and start anew. You're telling lies about Jamie - she comes from a very good family - and Chuck Yusko did graduate. It was the former water company manager who only went to ninth grade so get your stories right before you sit down and start writing such lies. Do you have any idea how lies destroy a person?: Do you have any idea how lies affect a person's health but butter yet - DO YOU CARE? No, or you wouldn't be writing the things you are so PLEASE let's look at the year 2009 as a year of NEW BEGINNINGS and work together instead of trying to totally destroy a person and their families with your lies and tall tales. How would you like it if I told lies about you?: Think about it! And if you think YOU can do a better job than Jamie and Chuck are doing, then GO FOR IT. Sounds to me like you're all mouth and wouldn't know the first thing what being a GOOD SUPERVISOR is all about. Ignore these people Jamie and Chuck and MOVE FORWARD with your plans for WT. It's a helluva better place now than it was two years ago!

Looks like the Miller cheerleaders found our website, if you can't take criticism, don't run for public office. That being said, we need a change! Vote these bumms out of office!!!! Oh and it's a fact, I know the miler family and her nephew is a cop!
