Teen who tortured, killed cats heads to prison program

Boot camp is too easy for this brat. He should be thrashed in public before going to boot camp.

He should apply for a job at the animal shelter. That is the same thing they do when you bring them in.

This is a serial murderer in training. folks who tend to commit violent crimes invariably as children or teens abuse small helpless animals. this is serious folks this boy is going to grow up and become a violent criminal. this is the pattern that usually occurs. someone needs to try to keep track of him and where he is and what he is doing for a long ti me to protect the general public from this young serial murderer

You are right, and the worst is yet to come.

Why don't people who abort babies get this kind of attention? I am sorry this happened to these cats, as I am a cat lover. However, this gets more attention than the millions who kill innocent babies.

Generally the term considered correct is sociopath. Children with a patern of animal abuse have consistently proven that they move on to humans after reaching maturity.

Has anyone, the judge, anyone, gotten a mental evaluation on this boy? Where are his parents and have they been questioned as to his history including as yet unmentioned prior acts that only the parents would know about and keep secret.

I can go on and there is a lot we can pick apart about the precursors to serial murder and the warning signs other than animal mutilation.

I'm with you. If the fetus has a heart beat then it has cognative ability (proven fact not supposition) and independant life sustaining organs. Why when they do late term, partial birth, or Obama's favorite viable birth abortions is it unmentioned. However let some good ole boy get caught on film kicking his dog and it runs on the 6 o'clock news.

How awful for those defenseless animals. I hope the scumbag who did this feels real pain some day.

BTW- we are not talking about a child here- he was at least 18 yrs old when he committed this horrible act.

anybody that does something like this has some serious mental problems. a lot of people out there will say "it was just a cat". how sad. these were living, feeling beings and didn't deserve to be treated this way. 3 mos. for this sicko is almost like doing nothing at all. it would pay to keep an eye on this person because there is probably worse to come. you can bet he's done lot's of things like this before. he just happened to get caught this time.

Looks like a pattern has already been established. Cats, kittens, ex-girlfriend. Wonder who he has planned for his next victim(s)? parents, neighbors, best friend, cousin, future unsuspecting girlfriend/wife..... Time will tell.
