Voice of Reason wrote: Third string offensive linemen usually don't do well on special teams...that's a fact. If you're the third best ______(insert position here) in the program, and a sophomore, you play JV until late in the season. Then, you get called up because you're better than some that were on varsity and can probably contribute in ways that the 4th stringer never could. Good to see the "my kid and the best 10" philosophy is alive and well...and even better when you don't have to sign your name. you parents sound like little kids, some of yall are the cause of your child being negetive about there coach, never talk negetive about a coach in front of your kids, if he does not play , support him and be happy he is learning that nothing is givin to him when he gets older and has a job. if he has any heart or an inch of athleticism he will eventually be a part of the football team. support him no matter what

Instead of getting behind of probably one of the best teams to come through monahans and support these boys and coaches on all the hard work they have put in some parents are mad about their kids playing time. My parents didnt have money and noboby really knows them and i started as the only junior on offense. so there goes you idea about you have to have money. its the best player gets put on the field. and if the coach wasnt winning you would be saying lets fire him and get a new one. so what do you want from him. in your life do you go for lesser service or do you try to go for the best. if your kid doesnt get playing time this isnt tee ball anymore. its time for parents to get over it. because that attitude that because i dont have money or i am not highly recongized in the community so my kid dosent play filters down to your kid. That is the attitude your kid takes on and then they use that as an excuse why they dont get a chance when really its because if they tried just a little bit harder then they might get to start.

No, ball games aren't the downfall of education. It's the student's lack of intelligence and discipline. Case in point, the smart ones would not bother with superfluous games to begin with...

if you went to any of the games this year, you know that the biggest thing that helped us go as far as we did was the second and third stringers got TONS of time on the field. With all the injuries, it helped a lot. im about as close to the team without being a player, and the coaches are great and they do a great job. Monahans is spoiled! Who was the valedictorian last year, uhhh yeah, I believe it was Beau Rose, and he was a very good wide receiver on the team... if you don't know what your talking about, shut your cake hole!

Sorry, I don't own one...nor do I need one. You only wish you could come up with the things I do without consulting a reference. Don't be jealous.
Now, when you say you're as close to the team without being a player does that mean you're a "manager", or a cheerleader fu cking the whole team? Either way, you have nothing going for you. You're not good enough at football to get a scholarship, yet you're not smart enough to earn one either. You'll never get into college, nor will you make something of yourself. You'll always be nothing but a bad example. Have fun working for peanuts the rest of your life. Look back on today years from now, when your life has reached its twilight...when it's too late to change anything...and remember that I told you so.
Have a nice life, cupcake.
