The State has nothing to do with Medicare reimbusement rates. Medicare is a federally funded program.
Iowa does get the short end of the stick when it comes to Medicare reimbusement...it isn't fair. The Fed. Gov should pay for Quality instead of Quantity.
Medicare reform, Iowa cuts on health care agenda
Iowa hospitals might finally get a fair deal with Medicare reimbursements. That's because it's part of reform legislation under consideration in Congress.
