Lawmaker's proposal would create smoking licenses for businesses

I have a condition that comprimises my breathing. I was estatic when the non-smoking law was passed in Illinois. My medical doctor had tried for several years to get someone to listen about the dangers in cigarette smoke. Finally, I could go into a restaurant without having to breathe cigarette smoke which triggers an attack. Those people who wish to change the law to accomodate smoker's, should have just an hour of not being able to take a full breath, then maybe they would be more sympathic toward those whose breathing is comprimised!!! We just came from vacationing in states that have no smoking laws, and there businesses are not suffering reduced customer's. I've put up with smoker's for years; now it's our turn.

This just seems to me to be another way for the Government to make money. As if it's not already rich enough.

Seriously, why remove a freedom that people have, and then give it back, but only to the select few businesses that can afford said permit.
