im hearing there wasnt any electricity at the warehouse friday night. anyone know what happened?

this has happened before hasnt it? act of god? isnt there something that could have been done to prevent it from happening again? they should pay everyone lost wages if thats the case.

Yup, happened about 2 years ago some time in october too.. it was fun as hell though. It was a friday night and it was raining too.. We had a lot of fun that night in Outbound. We had to clean for about an hour or so but those who were there would know what I'm talking about. We ended up going home like 3 hours early, but we didn't care, it was friday lol.

This will be brought up next week in negotiations. The last time this happened they did a temporary fix and never came back to fix it right, otherwise this would not have happened again. Act of God? Not.

sounds like the problems with the leaking everytime it rains.. that stinking substance that comes down and floods the inbound dock.. how many years has it been doing that 4 or 5 they never fix it..

But anyways.. I've been over to the IB side quite a bit and I've never noticed this smell you speak of. Where exactly was/is it?

After reading the company's latest flier I asked myself two questions: Does Renee actually believe this crap? The NLRB is taking this to trial on Dec 14th and is giving the company a chance to settle rather than spending money on a trial. Rid Aid has not yet responded. Being on the committee and knowing what's going I have to ask my second question: Renee how can you look at yourself in the mirror each day and face all of the workers knowing you lied to all of them? Karma's a bitch.

Renee is the GM of the year! It has nothing to do with what she thinks. she is mary sammons puppet! you will never convince me that Renee makes any decision to do with your fight agianst rite aid. mary sammons talks the talk about changing the culture and treating people with respect. But, she has never walked the walk. talk is cheap. you ever wonder why you get a 25 cent raise because rite aid can't afford any more. but, they can spend another million dollars to make another one of their dumb movies, because rite aid management thinks they should be movie stars instead of running a company. I think your other buddy Richie is starting to see the writing on the wall too. She is actively looking for another job else where. so, either she knows she will be the scapegoat when you get your first contract and will be fired. or she knows she is in a deadend job.

if this is true.. Ritchie has done her part in going along with all the lies that have damaged many peoples' lives in that DC.. if she has had a chnge of heart .. i say God Bless her and best of luck to her..

WTF? What happened? I'm no longer employeed there but I am still interested in how everything is going on there; I still care about all the good people I've had the chance to work with.

Hi Everyone. We had a very productive week during our bargaining sessions. We were finally able to TA Health and Safety. We were able to get some very good language. We were also able to TA Jury duty and the accuracy guidelines part of our Discharge and Discipline article. We are now starting on our Attendance Guidelines. Both sides are working very hard to try and get this done. I also think having the mediator there also helps. Have a great weekend everyone!

must be it depends on who you are and what you steal from rite aid. A guy from wilsonville and his wife got lots of jail time for stealing $400,000 worth of tires. but, if you steal thousands of dollars worth of pallets. you get to keep your job and let your husband move back to New York.

So rite aid not going to court? Have they settled?
