With the shelters overflowing and people having to give up dogs due to the depression we are in, the puppy mill should be a last resort to get a dog.

If you are going to have a puppy mill how 'bout taking care of the puppies and running a good operation, is that too much to ask?

they had a very tiny poodle in the kand s puppy ranch, that looked ill. weighed less then a pound. when i said it looks ill she said oh no we have a health certificate. she was just checked and she`s very healthy. they did drop the price to $1,000.00 from 1,800. and two weeks later we hear the health certificates were forged. the place stinks to high heavens, and the barking from the dogs in the kennels behind the store drive us nuts.we live pretty close. but what i dont understand is why they refused to come down on the prices, when they started getting over run with dogs. but i guess greedy people dont think that way.i had no idea they also had so many dogs at their homes on top of what is at the store. jerks. i hope they really get in trouble.

I prefer a rescue or the pound, rather than buy from a breeder. Little dogs while very cute are very much prone to more sickness. They require more care than a lager dog. Most owners do not give them that care. They then blame whoever they got the dog from.
But as far as the puppy ranch, do not believe what you read in the newspapers. Much of what you read in news papers or hear on the news is only half truths. I am also not for the puppy ranch but it is not about what I read in the news. Just do not like breeders when so many animals are being put down. There is a lot worse going on than the puppy ranch. Many dump dogs in the desert or dumpsters, yet they will not get their dogs fixed. This seems to be ok with everyone.

not all breeders are greedy my family breeds bassethounds and yes of course we need the money but we always refuse to sell to unresponsible people and we think about the good of the puppy if a puppy dies of any kind of sickness we promise a free one the following year we breed for the love of our puppies we are even known to go visit them when they are grown up

Daily Horoscope for December 25

Aries

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas. You're certainly all set for a great time, and you'll want everyone else to enjoy themselves as much as possible. You'll probably eat and drink too much but, hey, it's Christmas! Isn't such excess par for the course?
