Cops check 4 more arsons in arson-plagued Pa. area

perhaps if we had a certified police chief maybe we could have caught the arsonist/arsonists but when 15 experienced police officers leave the force following the hiring of a non-qualified chief what can you expect. The city of Coatesville is being running by certain non-qualified council people and city officials who don't represent the hard working non-drug dealing citizens. It is a tragedy. Coatesville could be a fine small city. there are many fine up standing citizens.

why did Coatesville Police/City let it go this far?

I have an answer for u, pure laziness,lack of accountability, and a lot of 'pass the buck' or 'problem' to the next guy. They may have thought the certified chief was a little too pricey so they whent bargain shopping at the expense of the people paying their salaries,I'd hate to say it but 'marshal law' is looking better every time i here those damn sirens!
The twisted thing about the whole situation is that i moved to Coatseville 5 years ago from Allentown, to get away from exactly what i'm bitching about now!T his crap just follows me where ever I go. 5 years ago , I was totally in love with this place, and now it breaks my heart that i am here settled ,engaged and whant to get married but bringing a child into this equation...What the @!#$!!

Arsonist? How many places have been hit. Is there a pattern? The community may have to solve this one themselves.

Im sorry I just got electric today from our ice storm. We have not seen the news in 9 days. Sorry your community is going through this hope it gets better.

Wow!! well, since the begining of the year there has been at at least 20 arsons in coaetsville. ressidents are being urged to keep outside lights on at night, and clear dbris fom their homes since a lot of the fires start on the porch.

mishka, I'm sorry, but I have to comment....You need to learn how to spell if you want to make a point. And maybe if you really cared about the community you might stay sober!
