19 years ago, when I was pregnant, I went to Rocco's hoagie shop with my husband. Rocco bragged that our pizza was the best I'd ever eaten, or our money back. Well, when the pizza arrived, it was loaded with chunks of uncooked garlic -an option we had not selected. In my sensitive state, I took one bite of it and felt sick. Soooo...I attempted (politely) to return it. Rocco was extremely rude, and inferred that I didn't know great pizza when I tasted it. Hey! I grew up in Philly, and went to Temple U. I think I've tasted great pizza in my time. Needless to say, we did not get our money back, and were asked to leave!!!!!!

A year ago or so I was forced to go to a business lunch at Rocco's and Anna's on Main Street. My pasta was overcooked and flavorless. The pizza wasn't anything to write home about, either. There are two other pizza/Italian food places in town. My advice: go there instead; they're better, and you probably won't get yelled at if you're pregnant.

I think the drinks there are eh...

But what do you expect, he's Italian. We're like that sometimes. Pizza Villa is good but greasy, but I like it a lot, and their strombolis are great!
