Feds indict 19 in Foley drug investigation

Great Work. But, what is happening down here in Southern Alabama? Why do these drug dealers think that this is a safe haven and a lucrative market? Is the market for illegal drugs so extensive here that they think that this is a good market for their wares? The police have to give a lot of attention to finding users who are making it profitable for the sellers to hone in on this area. Start slamming the users with jail time and not just slapping them on the wrist and letting them back out on the street to buy more drugs from the likes of those who you have arrested today. Of course it doesn't help that we have such things as "Spring Breakers" and "Rock Music Festivals" that bring in a steady supply of hop-heads to sell to. Maybe the cost of bringing in a few extra bucks is not worth the cost to police the results. The Mayors of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and to a lesser extent, Foley, ought to rethink just how much money they are willing to sell their souls for to bring in revenue that we can't afford.
