Believe it or not i saw this trolley on a flat bed semi being shipped probably to San Fernando. It was in Henderson, Nevada just east of las vegas where i live now back in June.

reading all these letters makes me very homesick..........i used to live on fenton avenue.....a block away from hubbard street school..........it was heartbreaking to move away
from all the friends i had made in 16 years there..........i too remeber the 71 quake.......it was a doozy.....lol anyway my maiden name was scarkino..........if anyone remembers me..........hey is light and life private school still across from sylmar high on the east side..........

yes, Light and Lif is still there...I live on Raven in front of the Highschool. The next door neighbors are the original owners. The other one has rented for over 20 years. I've been here for 15.

my casa survived the Oakridge Mobile Home park fire in sylmar, i was a resident there for 20 years. because of lousy planning and inaction, i am still at the holiday inn express and i have been here for 163 days. i have no idea of the condition of my place since i have been locked out by the city of la for the last 55 days.

finally see some mobile homes going back in to oakridge. light n life school closed recently. where is tks? lost contact

When did light and life close???? Since it's summer, I didn't really notice anything...

went to Herrick Elm, and olive vista, And Sylmar High (though i thought i was to cool for school and dropped out in 82, would have been class of 83)
i have such great memory's of my home town, but yeah its gone. anyways thought i would say high for old times sake.
