Override Six, Rep. Jim Abeler of Anoka, Rep. Ron Erhardt of Edina, Rep. Neil Peterson of Bloomington, Rep. Rod Hamilton of Mountain Lake, Rep. Bud Heidgerken of Freeport and Rep. Kathy Tingelstad should all be replaced. They forgot what party they belong to. You see the DFL uniting all the time and voting as a block to forward their progressive agenda. I feel if you are going to seek party endorsement then you have a responsibility to support the party. The DFL does it all the time.

All six should have resigned for their actions, as they have brought shame onto their party.

Too Bad, so sad... Buh-bye. This woman also voted for the smoking ban, so she's in favor of limiting rights. Maybe we'll get her out before she floats or endorses legislation that limits other freedoms as well. Good riddance.

All six of these people should be replaced....by either Democratics or Republicans. They certainly don't represent either party or their constituents. They brazenly, selfishly did what THEY wanted to....and didn't have the balls to represent their party or the people who voted them in. Shame on them..

I am not one of the reported 150 asked her to run as a dem. Voting right for the first time in your life does not make you a democrat. Tell the truth, that you are smart enough to see that bush and all the republicans are seeing the " EXIT " sign. It is in red and blinking, You thought, """HMM why should I run and spend lots and lots of money only to lose ? "

I would imagine she has a well-paying job of some sort waiting as payment for her special interest vote. Good riddance oh liberal one!

What a wimp. Why are you giving into Sinkhole Siefert and Pothole Pawlenty? Neither have the best interest of the state at heart!

A fair warning to her next employer. If you're looking for trustworthiness, it's not her long suit..

Since when did voting your conscience become a negative? The party did not elect her, the people did. And not all politicians vote the party way. Whatever happened to voting for what was best for the state and country, and the people of the state and country? Regardless of what your party says. I'll bet the folks in St. Cloud are happy she did right now. And the rest of the state too. See served the people, not the party!

So she';s looking for a job, eh? She will need a good- paying one, after the taz burden she has placed on all of "us."
I think it's funny how she needs to focus on persomal finances again, now that she's an "us."
Good riddance.
Why are some of these so-called republicans, including the 6, so afraid to say they are (and act like they are) conservative?

What a surprise! Perennial candidate Jerry "I'll run for any government position, even dog-catcher" Newton is running!

Although I was unhappy with Tingelstad's vote and won't defend it, Newton would be FAR worse.

So Long RINO --- I hope none of them get endorsed. As for the posters who say she "voted her conscience" and such - BS. She was elected by the people because she was to represent the views of the party and she didn't. Imagine if one of the socialist in State Gov voted against a bill backed by Education Minnesota, you would flake out and they would be recalled.

Tingestad and Abeler were two of four, count 'em FOUR Republicans that were endorsed by the AFL-CIO in 2006. Sounds like they were voting the special interest money to me.

Ironically, Jerry Newton was also endorsed by the AFL-CIO in yet another one of his unsuccessful bids to get on the government payroll.

According to some of the comments, there will never be enough money to satisfy the DFL.
