Minneota is the name of a city. Looks like Minnesota, which is the name of a state, but it is different. It refers to where she was living.

And by the way, didn't police come out and say she wasn't actually driving?

Interesting how now she wants a speedy trial, but yet she sent everyone on a wild goose chase by not giving her correct name and information, making it time consuming and difficult for investigators.

As much as I would like to see her sit in jail, the fiscal side of me says deport her now!

The attorney needs money pretty quick, with these no win no fee contracts and the rise in living costs, I am sure the judge will grant an expedited procedure. I wonder whether the Judge has already got a settlement figure in mind. It would appear this is the way things are done. Divorce, and civil courts work the opposite way, they ask for delays to max the costs, criminal courts work on plea bargains. America the best Justice money can buy.

Alek the Smart - If she wasn't driving and her "boyfriend" put her in the drivers' seat to take the blame, why did it take Extrication equipment to get her out? She was jammed under the steering wheel.

The police have stated witnesses saw someone running away from the van, not necessarily the driver. May have even been someone running back to their own vehicle. It was a mess out there that day with a lot of people running around.

I agree with the defense attorney, a speedy trial would be great! Let the jury determine if the defendent is:
1. Guilty - Send her to jail for years, then deport her.
2. Not Guilty - Deport her

Speedy or slow, who cares; just as long as she gets a regular dosage of "love taps" while she's on ice.

Daily Horoscope for June 20

Scorpio

You may love you-know-who to bits, but right now their ditzy attitude is driving you nuts. Is it because someone's being vague and flaky, or saying one thing and doing another? Be patient, because losing your temper will only make things worse than ever. Be careful if you're involved in a property deal and it's reached a crucial stage, because you may not be thinking as clearly as you imagine.
