Their findins, poor record-keeping, minimal contact among criminal justice agencies, untrained staff members and very little court-ordered treatment, are all factors that allow offenders to abuse again and again; and lack of follow-up in family court.

Thankful Mother Saint Paul, MN	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Feb 28, 2009 My family came before Judge Metzen in a child custody issue and she was extremely fair to both parents, always reminding us to think about what is the best outcome for the child. Glad to learn that she continues to assist Minnesota families with issues that we wish could be resolved peacefully between adults, but in all cases ultimately affect our most vunerable (cksp) citizens, our children. Best wishes to Judge Metzen in her new career. BTW: Sharon4Anderson--you really need to get a life off these comment boards. Seriously, it's not healthy.
