I'm guessing that brain damage was there BEFORE the incident. This kid clearly wasn't too bright in the first place.

He shouldn't have been given anything more dangerous that a sponge.

Say what? The parents should be upset that their high school student was so stupid as to attempt this. Unbelievable.

Hahahaha, wow, what an idiot. "Dubois' suit contends he suffered permanent brain damage". Yeah, right. Sounds like a pre-existing condition to me.

Assuming that the student(s) had a normal IQ for their age, there was no reason for the teacher to have to "Disclose" to students that they should not attempt stimulating their nipples with the electrical clamps and cords. Any fool who has plugged in a lamp knows not to pass current through their body by any means! As tragic as it is this student was critically injured, the lawsuit is frivolous and a perfectly good teacher's career has been ruined by another irresponsible student playing a dangerous game!

Kid deserved more than what he got. Judge should drop the lawsuit as a lesson in life.

Not very bright for these kids. It is their fault. Did the teacher instruct them
to attach the shit to his nipples? I bet they do not think it is funny any more.

What the hell are they teaching kids in school today? I don't think this kid had an ounce of common sense available. I'll have to admit, stupity is really funny! Did they videotape this for their entry onto Jackass - the sequel?

I don't feel sorry for this moron at all! Chalk it up as a life lesson - bet he doesn't do any stupid shit like this again! But wait, he's only 11, he has plenty of time left to find a stupid way to die.

And he is suing because they didn't tell him you couldn't do this? Anyone can try anything. If the judge rules in this kids favor, I think the rest of society is pretty well fucked - yes, George Carlin was my mentor. Maybe that's what this kid needs - or better yet, a set of parents that will instill common sense and a the ability to communicate before doing stupid shit.

We'll start making odds on if this idiot makes it to twenty. And if he makes it to twenty one, then the odds will be pretty much astronomical.

These young men were short of brain matter prior to this demonstration of stupidity. Unfortunately the district and others will absorb the costs, insurance will increase and the public will lose due to these less than average "students".

If had not had a bad experience with his electrified nipple clamps, would he have gone on to his physical education class and shoved a baseball bat up his ass?

I hope the school district goes to court and gets him on the witness stand.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Taurus

Get involved in financial transactions at your peril under today's Lunar Eclipse, because certain people will use them as a stick to beat you with. For instance, if you ask someone to lend you money they'll either make you feel guilty about it or dredge up all sorts of past instances when their trust was betrayed. You would also be well advised to avoid any show of possessiveness or jealousy, even if you feel it, unless you truly don't care about the disastrous outcome.
