What a moron
Saint Paul, MN
|
I hate to sound cold, but I think this kid had brain damage long be the moron got electrified. I think kids with a normal brain by the age of 6 would realize electric could be dangerous, The school district should be suing him for unnecessary waste of energy.

He wanted to be the class clown and he suffered injury due to his own stupidity. Now there are medical bills to be paid and his parents are looking for a scapegoat. The stupid apple didn't fall very far from the stupid tree.

You ever take one of those....."electric cords", yea, one of them, and clamp one to each nipple and then you know.."Plug it in", yea, it hurts like the dickens.

Obviously, students knew exactly what they were doing. Teacher should sue those students for reckless endangerment of classmates.

...and the teacher resigned?! Why? Could he have intervened and stopped the idiocy of the students or was he so stupefied by the lunacy of his students to the point of complete and utter resignation?

I'm thinkin the teacher saw this, grabbed his coat, and just walked out muttering "That's it. I just can't do this anymore."

The stupid little basturd didn't fry. Now we get to support this drain on society and a perfectly good teacher is going to finish out his days greeting people (a lot of them just like the student that caused him to end his career) at Walmart.

In HS a fellow student shaped a hacksaw blade into a knife. I always carried my lunch under my arm on top of books. He stabbed at my lunch and I moved my arm and he stuck my arm, bled like a stuck pig but no permanent damage. Of course questions were asked and I just said I bumped into something. Was really an accident, he didn't mean to stab me.

The parents are to blame for allowing the lawsuit to go foward. A real parent - one that teaches there kid responsiblity for their actions - would not try to get money for their stupid kids actions.

Sue? Because the teacher didn't WARN them? Did he attach the clamps to the student? Did he warn the kids not to stick their hands in the planer? Did he warn them not to stick chisels in their eyes? Did he warn them not to sit on the table saw?? Geez... if he didn't specifically warn the kids about each and every one of the myriad possibilities to hurt themselves...well of COURSE its the TEACHER'S fault then......
