[This man will probably be helping to keep you and others safe at the GOP convention when it comes to town.]

Keep me safe from what? A couple hippie protesters and carousing Republican delegates? I'd rather have someone keep me safe from drunken, gun-wielding, power-hungry trigger-happy cops.

My personal defense is my own responsibility, thank you.

She sounds like a class act.

Has tons of kids of her own who she will no doubt raise to be law abiding citizens...then scares the child of a cop.

I take offense to your name calling of Brainerd inhabitants. We are NOT all toothless, Bud Light drinking incoherents. And remember a large portion of our population are transplants.

Squee, it isn't right to assume that one bad apple cop makes all of them bad. This is one of the most dangerous, most noble professions out there. You must be to dim to see that. You are probably think Alan Colmes is the voice of reason in this country. If we could just get back to God and family we would have a chance.

Hogwash.

http://www.classesandcareers.net/education-ca...

Law enforcement doesn't even rank in in top 10--well under fishermen, trash collectors, and even food delivery drivers.

But hey--I'd gamble they take more lives than any other occupation does (other than the military). And rarely with accountability.

Thanks for the cliche, anyways. If it is any consolation, Colmes is as much of a sleazebag as Hannity is.

I think the "bad apple" cop is the rule, not the exception. Maybe I'll consider changing my mind when the bad cops fear the good ones instead of vis a vis.

A citizen protecting his and his families lives and property with his own weapon is far more noble, than a government paid thug that doesn't understand or comprehend the US Constitution. It's people like HannityFan that justify big government encroachment on MY rights.

What's the matter Squeee, getting a few too many Parking Tickets? Sounds like you've got a pretty big axe to grind with the Cops. And just who would you call if you house was broken into, or your car was stolen? Not one of those "drunken, gun-wielding, power-hungry trigger-happy cops." now would you?

[[And just who would you call if you house was broken into, or your car was stolen?]]

I've got the means to defend myself if needed. Only I can be responsible for my own property, and my insurance provider second. The government certainly does a bang-up job at protecting it, don't they? What good are the cops going to do? Show up and take notes afterwards?

The worst complaint against this cop (of the 15 out of 30+ that were brought and sustained?) is one 18 years ago for pointing a weapon when drunk and stupid? And now his ten-year-old child has been threatened to his face and in front of his father? I agree with Bill B in St Paul.
What matters here is that a 10-year-old can be threatened by someone with a criminal record (including consorting with people who have done retaliatory attacks on children!) in front of several witnesses. Instead of being freaked out by that, people are bringing up whether or not it is justified because the father is no saint either? Wow.
This is so not your child, people. Have you ever had your child directly threatened? I have. And we even had witnesses, but they refused to allow us to quote them because they did not want to "ruin the life" of the other person for what MAY have been a "momentary lapse in judgment". Yeah, right. And it was "just kids anyway", and "nothing" would come of it. That is why our son was attacked (kicked on the ground, punched in the head, etc.) by a gang on his middle school playground in front of dozens of witnesses weeks later.
Had I done anything to the person who threatened him? No. Had my son? No.(except asked adults for help making him stop harassing him - what was he thinking, believing all that "we don't tolerate bullying" crap? WHo knows?) Even if I had been part of an arrest on that boy or his mama though, it still would not justify threatening my son. Even mobsters didn't traditionally go after your family - unless they worked for your own rival mob boss.

I think that a cop, chooses their profession just like hollywood stars and then they whine & cry about their safty & privacy! BS you choose your life to be just that! I do not feel sorry for them. Shame on people who ask they kids to lie!
If you really are in Brainerd, then you have the luxury of not having to worry about the Lindsey family. If you want to see a family album, go to the Minnesota Department of Corrections inmate lookup page. Please not while there why each of this outstanding family is a guest of the taxayers and hope they never come your way.

Sure, the defendant doesn't sound like a spring chicken, but can anybody answer me why this swine is still serving as a law enforcement officer? It doesn't sound like she's got a drunk and disorderly assault with a deadly weapon charge in her career.
she does have a long list of criminal history and i think some assualts also

Is it really true that he is a drunk? Then why hasn't he been disciplined? Honestly though...don't all cops drink? Comes with the job doesn't it? After what you guys have to deal with...who wouldn't become a drinker right?

If you want to make changes to your working environment or career prospects, do your best to get on with your colleagues today. It's a powerful Lunar Eclipse, so the Moon-ruled could encounter opposition as the knives come out. Perhaps someone objects to the way you're doing things, or maybe they're just plain jealous. Ensure that you're acting in everyone's best interests and not just your own, or you'll really land in hot water!
