Although I could care much less for U2, I hope more students come out to see the concert than went to see the Gophers game Saturday night. Did you see all of those empty seats? How appalling!

I'm going to really enjoy not attending. And I'm going to enjoy smoking up the profit I'm going to make from reselling tickets to the desperate. Thanks U2!!

Will I be able to buy a beer at the U2 concert? For $252 per ticket I should also get a barrel of Guinness and a glass.

I attended their 1983 show at Northrop Auditorium. Excellent concert. The guy sitting next to me had b o though. It's time to listed to War again, their best album.

U2 hasn't put out any good music since the mid-80's. Suddenly Bono wants to be in politics, and their music has become even worse.

7 months in advance for tix? Right before X-Mas? How much money does U2 make on the interest in 7 months on our hard earned payments? U2's (& I do like them) piety and spirituality seems a sham when looked at from my perspective!

At $252 for the most expensive ticket, I'll be heading to the bank for a small loan. Ouch!

Gee the lamo posts on this thread. What a bunch whiners! I am not a huge U2 fan but my first time in TC Bank Stadium will be outdoors in June! U2 is by far thee most active band playing today both musically and politically. Edge was instrumental in a program to get all of New Orleans musicians back on their feet after Katrina and the band also donated a lot of money, time, and effort to the gulf coast region. Not bad for a bunch of drunken Irishman. I can't wait for this show and there is nothing like an outdoor concert. I am calling a Dylan tune to end the show, you heard it here first!

This is good news. Still, I hope that Gov. Tim Pawlenty would be the guest speaker at the start of the concert. I love Tim.
