A rare cheer for the criminal!
This dude has much to learn about life! First he proves what a heartless soul he has in his interview. He also seems to have little in the way of mental assets by letting his pants do his thinking. It goes to show that anyone can be an attorney if they have the funds and find a law school willing take them and then issue a degree. Law school really should have tought this guy to use better judgement.

Well...taking a woman that he picked up in a bar to his hotel room while leaving $120,000 worth of valuables just laying about wasn't WRONG but it sure was dumb.
And aren't Republicans the ones who usually frown on casual sex?
Republicans have sex too. There is even a Homosexual component within the ranks of the Republican Party. There are even babies made by Republicans. When you are In Mankato celebrating your "Diversity", perhaps you can find a Lesbian Republican to have your once a year anonymous sex with.

PS...Having values, and falling short of your values, is not a good reason to abandon all values...

That is what is wrong with you Liberal Democrats....you think that because you are valuless, you are somehow superior to the person that has values, but is a failed Human Being who re-doubles her efforts to get back to her core values.

Is THAT what this guy was doing? Being a failed human being re-doubling his efforts to get back to his core values?

Gee, you could have fooled me.

Ok.... Now I think I understand...."greed " is owned by Republicans?

Is that based on the dominance Republicans have in Charitable Donations over generous Liberal Democrats?
Is that based on the Confiscation of wealth by the Democrat Government Employee for their Job Security, and redistribution of the "crumbs" to the dependent masses?

Esplain the ownership of greed?

Who carries that kind of stuff around to a convention? I'll bet it is a scam to get insurance money and that the mysterious women is in cahoots with the bozo.

This is rich, so to speak. I agree with Geo above. Anybody who pays $1,000 for a belt has already crossed the line from showoff to idiot. And I'll bet the odds of the perp being a local gal are almost zero. There were more non-local crooks and prostitutes in town than at any time since the U.S. Open or whatever big golf tournament about six years ago. Thousands of drunk Rethuglicans at a convention where their repressed libidos were unleashed? Hey thieves, come and get it!
However, here's why I think it is a scam: The story said "Schwartz was quoted as saying that as far as oratorical skills go, McCain 'has more experience in his little pinkie' than Democratic nominee Barack Obama." and the fact that he gave the maximum amount to Guiliani indicate to me that this fool was seriously challenged in the truth and common sense department. Maybe he was given a drug and had a few things stolen, but the women's jewelry? If I was Republican in Denver or a client of this guy, I'd be worried about his transvestite tendencies.

You don't have to get high to get happy,
Just think about what's in store.
When people start doin' what they oughta be doin',
Then they won't be booin' no more.
When Obama goes through the White House door,
And does what he says he'll do.
We'll all be drinkin' free gin & juice,
and eatin' Obama stew.

I think this guy's "dream ticket" was a MICKEY FINN. What an idiot. I don't care if he was a Republican or a Democrat. The haul included a $30,000 watch, a $20,000 ring, a necklace valued at $5,000, earrings priced at $4,000 and a Prada belt valued at $1,000. That's only $60,000. You mean to tell us he had $60,000 in cash on him? I don't believe it.
I'm with you on this one. Between his obnoxious arrogant demeanor displayed for all the world to see, and his stupidity in not being able to spot a scam artist (he is a lawyer after all), he should be more worried about losing his job. Law firms are about reputation, and his just went down the tubes.

I love the editorial about how he was eager to point out McCains assets and Obama's weaknesses but when asked to provide info to the reporter about this investigation we get this biased reporting:

"Reached by phone at his law office Monday, Schwartz said that because the case still was under investigation, "I think at this point, I don't want to make a comment on it."

During the convention, Schwarz wasn't shy about talking to the media. In an Associated Press article about Sen. John McCain's acceptance speech, Schwartz was quoted as saying that as far as oratorical skills go, McCain "has more experience in his little pinkie" than Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

Please editors for the sake of your craft look at what you are doing!

As others have said when do we get a story about a rape victim and then an editorial on their political views??? Obviously it has nothing to do with the crime, so the fact it is included in this story is nothing more than an opportunistic journalist looking for a chance to score political points...too bad.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
